The last two months had been a whirlwind of emotions, fights, struggles, anticipation and excitement.  Right now it was hitting everyone especially Tracey who had fully stepped into her role as the leader of the Lions Den for Stef had passed the torch officially the night Roxy threatened her kids in the lounge. Yes it was a bit earlier then she had anticipated but the time had presented itself and the blonde knew it.

FLASHBACK

"Like I said Rox this shit is out of my hands and ya'll have to take this up with the leader of the den. So long sweets." Smirking at her sister again Stef's hand remained inside Lena's as the two women walked off with Callie. Completely dismissing Roxy who grew furious and saw the other den members surround her the blonde refused to take her sister's crazy bait which if she did could keep her in prison.

"Fuck you bitch I'm talking to you! You don't fucking walk away from me you fucking trick! I know shit about you! I know a ton of shit about you that could keep your ass locked up in here for ages! You think you are better huh! You think so! What you can't handle your own shit! Fucking pussy ass bitch you are! What a fucking cunt you are!"  She heard Roxy yelling almost trying to go after her when Tracey ordered the den members to grab her and teach her a lesson that she had clearly forgotten.

That night as the three woman sat in the blondes cell Stef asked no questions at all as Tracey walked in unharmed and whispering something in Lena's ear. Callie rested her head in her mother's lap as Stef gently ran her fingers through her hair not saying a word. Nothing as tears ran down Callie's face ones she tried not to show. It was still hard for her for she just didn't understand why Roxy had behaved the way she did and the horrible things she said. None of it made sense to her. Zero and she was angry at the words she spewed to her mother. Angry and upset.

Stef herself didn't get it either. She just didn't as images of her and Roxy as kids and teenagers flew through her mind. Could she have prevented this? Any of it? That she didn't know as Lena let out a sigh and took a seat beside her and Callie looking to her wife's profile.

"Baby, Raquel overdosed." she said softly as Stef continued to run her fingers through Callie's hair for she was numb as she looked down at her daughter still unable to say a word. "They um found her in the hall with a um needle sticking out of her arm. She's, she's gone."

"Yeah?"

"Yes baby."

"And Roxy, she dead?"

"She's um very critical. The den did a number on her." Lena said as the blonde heard Callie sniffle but she refused to let any tears fall from her own eyes for Roxy had done this to herself. She did and the same with Raquel. No it did not make things any easier and never would.

"No tears babygirl. No tears over this shit." Stef said sternly as the young teen lifted her body up.

"I'm angry Mom. I don't get it. The crap she said to you? And threatening our kids? Why? Why didn't you let me fight her? And how could  your own niece turn on you? I don't understand any of it."

"Callie we have no room and time for Roxy's bullshit. Zero and you have no business fighting her. None. I want you in once piece and it's not to say you can't fight but I don't want you to. That's my choice and what I say goes. You know that you are my daughter and you, me and Mama Lion we are focusing on the future. Our future as a family and we leave this behind. I don't know what happened with Roxy or Raquel I don't know my honey but we can't dwell on it. Any of it because we need that energy and we don't use that energy on fighting in here anymore. That's done, that's over."

"But Mama I...

"Callie don't fight me on this. Don't. You focus on what you want to do when we leave, what you want to be in life. Yeah? That's what you focus on for me and for yourself and for your baby. Because she is waiting for you. And when we get out we are gonna have one big party for you because 18 is big miss." She smiled as Callie let out a soft smile herself and the blonde stroked her cheek.
