Today was presentation day. Yoongi was confident with the both of them. He and Jimin had practiced almost every single day since they finished the presentation.

He walked into class and scanned the room, Jimin nowhere to be found. Yoongi thought it was odd since he was always there before him.

Unless...

 Oh no...

What if Jimin skipped? Yoongi knew he was nervous but they had practiced so much.

Would Jimin really do that to Yoongi?

Yoongi sat in the back where Jimin usually sits and put his backpack in the seat next to him for Jimin when, and if, he showed up. He was hoping he was just running late or something, trying to give him the benefit of the doubt when in reality, he probably didn't plan on coming.

He kept glancing at the door, hoping that every time someone walked through that door it would be Jimin.

"Okay class, which group wants to present first? Any volunteers?" Yoongi's heart started pounding. What was he going to do? He would have to present alone and hope that Jimin's absence wouldn't affect his grade.

One pair raised their hands and they started setting up their laptop at the podium in the front of the room. That would at least buy Yoongi some time, maybe, just maybe, Jimin would show up.

Y: Dude where are you??? We have to present today

Yoongi texted Jimin, awaiting an answer.

The first group finished, still no Jimin. Yoongi sighed. He was annoyed and a little angry. He tried to understand Jimin's fear, but at the same time it was a group effort. You can't just abandon someone like that.

A second group volunteered and he figured after this group he would tell the professor that his partner didn't show up and if he could do the presentation alone.

Yoongi didn't know that Jimin had arrived while the second group was going. He waited in the hallway until they finished. He was already late and he didn't want to disturb them.

As soon as that group finished, Yoongi was prepared to take the fall, that is until Jimin came into the room. He was still annoyed. Even more annoyed if anything upon seeing Jimin. He stopped to hand the professor a note and talk to her as she was sitting in the back of the room.

A third group volunteered while Jimin rushed to the seat next to Yoongi. He moved his backpack from the seat and dropped it on the floor.

"I'm really sorry." Jimin whispered apologetically.

"It's fine." Yoongi spat out. He just wanted to present and get it over with.

After that group was over Yoongi volunteered for him and Jimin to go whether Jimin was ready or not. They walked to the front and Yoongi set up his laptop as Jimin stood next to him, looking at his notecards so he didn't have to look at Yoongi. Yoongi pushed all other thoughts aside and focused on presenting. He was going to get a good grade no matter what.

After the professor commented that they did a good job and the clapping from their classmates ceased, the boys went back to their seats.

Yoongi pulled out his phone, not paying any attention to Jimin. That's what he did the entire class. Every now and then Jimin would look at Yoongi.

Yoongi was mad at Jimin. He knew he was. And Jimin felt terrible about it.

~

After everyone was done presenting, the professor dismissed everyone early. Yoongi didn't bother waiting for Jimin as he got his stuff and walked out of the room. Jimin rushed to catch up with him.
