"If we keep practicing like this, we won't even need the notecards." Yoongi chuckled. The two boys had just gone over the presentation twice and Jimin was doing slightly, but noticeably better every time they practiced.

"I guess this isn't thaaat bad," Jimin said, dragging out the word "that."

"No it's really not. It's not a long presentation and we'll power through it."

"I just want it to be over," Jimin sighed, putting his notecards down and switching tabs on his laptop to the school's work website.

"We'll get through it, don't worry." Yoongi assured Jimin.

They had decided to take a break after that. Jimin busied himself with another subject's homework for the time being and Yoongi was checking his emails.

Yoongi was over practicing as he could practice a few times before the presentation and be completely fine. But he didn't want to discourage Jimin or make him even more nervous, so he just kept on going until Jimin was comfortable enough.

"So, where do you work?" Jimin asked Yoongi. They weren't sitting in awkward silence or anything, Jimin just simply wanted to make conversation. Why should they only have to talk when working on the assignment?

Yoongi looked up from his laptop screen to look at Jimin.

"I work at a Starbucks that's down the street from here. It's nothing special, just for now to help pay bills." Yoongi shrugged.

"Ah, gotcha." Jimin didn't really know what to say after that and quite honestly, he wasn't really sure where this conversation was going to go after that. Jimin didn't have a job, not because he didn't want one, but because he didn't know if he could handle one on top of going to school. And quite frankly, they didn't have much faith in him about handling a job either. But he's only a freshman, so maybe after he gets settled and used to going to school. However, his parents were very well off who pay for everything, thus them expecting him to be perfect in return and not pushing him to get a job.

"Did you work during your freshman year?" Jimin asked, genuinely curious.

"I did. I've been working Starbucks for close to 2 ½ years. I started the summer before I started college to help pay for this apartment. I worked all summer then only did weekends and holidays during the school year. I'll pick up extra shifts if I need the money, but it's mainly just summers and weekends until I graduate"

"Was it hard working your freshman year?"

"A little, but I managed. I kind of had to. It was only on the weekends so it could've been worse, I just had to manage my time with my homework and stuff. But it's definitely doable." Jimin nodded. "Are you currently working?" Yoongi asked.

"No." Jimin shook his head. "I just wanted to get settled into school but maybe after freshman year."

"That's totally understandable. If you can wait then definitely do it. It'll be easier once you had a year of school done. If you did need a job, though, I could talk to my manager." Yoongi suggested.

Jimin couldn't help but smile. It was a really nice offer. That's when Jimin decided that Yoongi was a good guy, a really good guy. Even though it was something as simple as that, Jimin really appreciated it.

"Thanks, I'll let you know." Jimin actually considered it for a minute, but he probably wouldn't end up taking the offer. He knew he couldn't handle it. Yoongi nodded and got up. It was around dinner time and Yoongi was getting hungry.

"Do you want anything to eat before we get started again?" Yoongi opened the refrigerator door.

"No thank you." Jimin politely declined. Yoongi didn't want Jimin to just watch him eat, so he was hoping they would practice just one more time and he could eat after. He grabbed a soda and joined Jmin back at the table.
