Jimin went walk inside Yoongi's house as he texted him to just come in when he got there.

Yoongi whipped his head in the direction of the door and smiled upon realizing it was Jimin.

"Hey!" Yoongi called. He got up and made his way to the table where his laptop and books lied all over the surface.

Jimin smiled.

"Hey." He joined Yoongi at the table. He looked around, noticing that Hoseok wasn't there. "Where's Hoseok?" Jimin asks as he takes out his laptop and textbook.

"Oh, I uh, told him to come a little later in case you wanted to, you know, talk. You don't have to talk about anything, obviously, but I didn't want you to feel embarrassed or like you couldn't talk in front of him." Yoongi scratches the back of his neck and shrugs. Jimin's heart fluttered and he was afraid Yoongi could hear it beating hard against his chest. That made Jimin want to cry. It was so sweet and thoughtful for him to do that.

"Oh, that was really nice of you..." Jimin thought for a second.

"Yeah, like I said, you don't have to tell me anything you don't want to. If not then we can just get a head start on studying. But you said you talked to your ex and I bet that wasn't easy. Sorry for bringing it up, it's really none of my business, but I'm here if you want to talk." Yoongi looked down, feeling like he may have crossed a boundary. He immediately felt bad. He didn't want to push Jimin, but he knew he was upset and wanted him to know that if he wanted to talk he would listen, as a friend. He was about to speak until Jimin spoke up.

"Thank you, I did talk to him yesterday and it wasn't easy." Jimin said softly. Yoongi shifted his body in his chair and turned to Jimin, nonverbally showing him that he was paying attention to Jimin and only Jimin.

"I'm sorry. Do you feel better now that you did?"

"Maybe a little... I don't know." He was cautious about opening up this much to Yoongi, but he pretty much did the other night when he told him about Taehyung in the first place. "We didn't just talk though..." Jimin looked down, ashamed of himself. He wasn't really planning on telling him, but he figured why stop now? Might as well just tell him.

"Oh." Yoongi put his chin in his hand, resting his elbow on the table. He wasn't really sure how to respond. He wasn't judging Jimin, not at all. But he didn't know how he could help him feel better.

"Yeah." Jimin wanted to cry. But he was done with crying. He was exhausted from crying. He also didn't want to cry in front of Yoongi either. He didn't want to make him uncomfortable. "It just kinda happened. I didn't plan on it. My plan was to go and end things, you know, cut all ties with him. We talked and cried and then we kissed with the intention of it being one last goodbye kiss, but it didn't end there."

Yoongi was intensely staring into Jimin's eyes, completely invested in what he was saying. He was glad he told Hoseok to come over later because there's no way Jimin would've talked about something like this in front of him.

"Are you gonna see him again?" Yoongi asked.

Jimin thought for a second.

"No." He blurted out, not really sure if he was trying to convince Yoongi or himself. "No, we talked about it and we said goodbye, so that's all over." Jimin put his chin in his hand as he rested his elbow on the table and turned away, he could feel the tears coming back. He did everything in his power to try and stop them.
