___________________________________________________On the way to Yoongi's apartment, Jimin was nervous. More nervous than usual. But why?
Oh yeah, he hasn't been to Yoongi's apartment since they kissed, the second time, a few days ago. He's seen him in class, but they were just little hellos and walking out of class together.
Jimin knew things were going to be different, but how different now?
Jimin and Yoongi confessed their feelings for each other, they weren't just friends anymore. They were still friends, regardless, but they even kissed. Jimin hoped that something was going to happen between them eventually, but how would they get to that point?
He shook off the numerous, lingering thoughts in his head as he pulled into the apartment complex.
Yoongi's heart fluttered when he heard the door open, signaling Jimin's arrival.
Jimin walked into the door with a smile on his face.
"Hey!" Yoongi called from the couch.
"Hey." Jimin called back.
He took his shoes off and joined Yoongi on the couch. It wasn't awkward like either of them thought it might be. It's as if nothing changed. They're still friends, of course.
"Hoseok is coming in a bit, but I wanted to get a head start on the homework so we can just hang out later." Yoongi said as Jimin took his laptop out of his backpack.
"Yeah, that sounds good." Yoongi agreed.
While the boys were doing their homework, Yoongi was thinking about what Hoseok said. He was thinking about taking Jimin out on a date, which he wanted to do, but he didn't know when a good time would be for that. He wanted to be careful not to rush things. So maybe meeting Jimin's parents was a good first step, if that was okay with Jimin. He had never been over Jimin's house, now that he thought about it. Not that he ever cared and neither did Jimin. Jimin preferred to be over Yoongi's apartment. But he was curious.
"Hey, Jimin?" Yoongi asked softly.
"Yeah?" Jimin looked up from his laptop, bearing a cute, yet anticipating face as to what Yoongi was going to ask him.
Shit. Yoongi didn't even give himself a second to figure out how he's going to ask Jimin. He had to say something before he looked like an idiot.
"You know, I uh, I've never been over your house. Not that it really matters and it's okay if you don't want me to come, I would understand but I just figured that since you're always over mine and you also met my parents and stuff, uh, maybe I can meet them too?" Yoongi asked nervously.
Jimin laughed a sweet, closed-mouth laugh after hearing how nervously Yoongi clearly was upon asking him.
"I think that's a great idea." Jimin smiled, but wasn't too happy about it on the inside. "I'm sorry I've never invited you over or anything, it's not that I don't want you there, I just like coming over here, you know?"
"Yeah, I totally get it. I'm glad you like coming to my apartment so much." Yoongi smiled.
"I really do, but uh, just know that my parents aren't as welcoming as yours." Jimin said sadly and looked down.
Yoongi put his laptop to the side and scooted closer to Jimin, putting his arm on Jimin's knee, something that Jimin found to be extremely comforting. He looked up at Yoongi.
