I'm so sorry it's taken me so long so post this chapter. I know you all are very understanding but I still feel bad. Everyone was really excited for this chapter, too. But I've been going through it a little bit and just wasn't able to get myself to take the time to revise and post a new update. School just started back up again and it's my last semester of college and now I'm applying to grad schools so I'm super stressed out. Hopefully I'll still have time to write every now and then because I absolutely love this story and I will never abandon it. I will do everything I can to make sure I finish it and finish it the way I originally intended.
Also, this chapter is suuuuuuper fluffy and cute, but the end of the chapter may contain some potentially triggering and sensitive scenes so just be mindful of that.
PS- the picture above is Jimin's outfit for the date. I had a little trouble explaining it so hopefully this gives everyone a clear idea of what I meant.
Other than that, enjoy!

"No, Jimin, it's not too much, I promise you." Jungkook was sitting on his bed while trying to assure Jimin that he didn't look ridiculous.
Tonight was the night. The date.
Jimin sighed.
He decided on wearing an orange and white v-neck tshirt with a black collar, black skinny jeans, and black dress shoes. He liked it when he was back at his house sifting through every single thing he owned, but now that he's at Jungkook's house getting ready, he's second guessing himself. He had no idea how long he'd been looking at himself, but it must have been a while. He looked at every single angle of himself in Jungkook's full length mirror, while occasionally catching a glimpse at Jungkook in the background.
"I'm sorry." Jimin sighed again and walked toward the bed. "I'm just nervous. I know it sounds stupid, but I haven't been on like a real date in a really long time."
"It's okay, Jimin. I get that. Just remember that Yoongi already likes you. He likes you a lot. So don't worry about trying to impress him or anything. Just have a good time, that's all you have to do." Jungkook assured him.
Jimin smiled, thankful to still have a friend like Jungkook after all these years. He was always so patient with Jimin even though Jimin wasn't always easy to deal with.
"Thank you." Jimin sat on his bed so he could relax a bit. "He wanted to do the whole old-fashioned dating thing. You know, where the guy picks up the girl at her house and all that? Well he wanted to do that, wanted to pick me up at my house and drive me everywhere, but I told him we couldn't. Because of my parents." Jimin looked away. It's times like these when he really wishes he didn't have to hide from his parents like this. "They would be too suspicious and I couldn't think of a good enough reason as to why Yoongi would be picking me up. That's why I'm driving to his house first and then he's driving us to wherever we're going. He still insisted on driving."
Jungkook looked at Jimin with a broken heart. Something so simple, he can't even do. Jungkook hated his parents, absolutely hated them.
"Well tonight isn't about them. It's about you and Yoongi. Try not to think about them, don't even talk about them. Forget them. Try to only think about the positive." Jungkook tried his best.
"You're right. This isn't about them. I think I really need this. To just forget about them and only focus on Yoongi."
"Exactly. You don't know where you're going right?"
Jimin shook his head.
"I have no idea what restaurant we're going to, but I know he made a reservation for it. I also think we're walking around in town after."
