Chapter 48

Yoongi wakes up with the sun shining bright through the window into the room, intruding on the peaceful darkness his closed eyes provided. However, it didn't really bother him and it wasn't what woke him up either.

He was very gently woken up by the beautiful boy that lay next to him, who was nuzzled snugly in his chest. Jimin was also gently grazing his nails against Yoongi's naked chest as he remembered that he liked that feeling.

If Yoongi could wake up like this every morning, he would be set for the rest of his life. In fact, he would lose precious sleep just to be able to see the sight in front of him.

Yoongi groaned and lifted his arm a little to hold onto Jimin.

"Good morning." Yoongi said in his raspy morning voice.

"Good morning." Jimin chirped. "Did I wake you up?"

"No." Yoongi said. "I got up on my own but was lucky enough to wake up to you." Yoongi said and started rubbing Jimin's back, gently moving his hand back and forth.

"I can say the same thing." Jimin said fondly.

Yoongi rolled over and took Jimin in both of his arms, engulfing him in his chest. Jimin wasted no time in adjusting his body to snuggle up to Yoongi.

"How did you sleep?" Yoongi asked as he closed his eyes. Not because he was tired, just because he wanted to savor the moment, even though he was confident he would have many more like this. It didn't matter, though, he couldn't get enough.

"I slept great. What about you?"

"I did too. This bed is super comfy."

"It is. But I'm glad you had a good night's sleep."

Yoongi was more glad that Jimin had a good night's sleep because he knew how hard it had been for Jimin recently with his uneven sleeping patterns.

They lay there for a bit in each other's arms, perfectly content.

"I'm sure Jennie and my brother are making breakfast downstairs. Do you wanna get dressed and head down?"

"That sounds great." Yoongi didn't want to, but he let Jimin go and they both rolled out of bed. They both put on clean clothes and went down the stairs, one right after another.

As soon as they entered the kitchen, the smell of miscellaneous breakfast food items entered Yoongi's nostrils. It smelled amazing.

"Good morning boys!" Jennie greeted, cooking what looked like bacon on the stove. JiHyun was sitting at the table reading the paper with a cup of coffee and they greeted each other as well. "How did you two sleep?"

Both of them replied 'good" at the same time.

"Have a seat boys, I'm almost done with the bacon. Are you hungry?"

"I could definitely eat." Yoongi said.

"That's my boy." JiHyun gave an approving look and raised his cup of coffee. Yoongi laughed.
