"Hey, buddy. How's it going?" The sound of JiHyun's voice ripple through the phone immediately signals a flood of relief in Jimin. No matter what, hearing from or just being around his brother soothed him beyond belief. It really sucks for Jimin that he doesn't live with him anymore, but it just makes him even more excited for when he finally does live with him.
"I'm good, you?"
"I'm good, too. Thanks Jimin. What's up?"
"Actually, I uh, told Yoongi about my eating disorder." Jimin breathed. He wasn't going to cry. The secret was already out, he was just dealing with the fact now.
"Oh. How did he take it?" He sounded a little surprised, but wanted Jimin to tell him sooner or later, especially if Jimin's claim that he was going to be around for a long time became true. He was glad that he did.
"Really good, actually. Not that I expected him to be mean or judge me or run off, but I was just really scared. Those thoughts were still there, you know?" Jimin hugged his knees to his chest as he was sitting on a chair in the sun room, where he often made phone calls at night.
"Yeah. It was valid to feel like that. I'm glad he took it well. And I'm glad that you told him. I'm really proud of you, too, Jimin. I know that wasn't easy. But I think it is important that he knows."
"Yeah, I agree. I told him all about it like where it stemmed from and all of that. I told him he could leave if it was too much to handle and I would understand because it is a lot. But he said he wouldn't do that and he just wants to help me." Jimin smiled, remembering how sweet and accepting Yoongi was.
"He doesn't sound like the kind of person that would do that anyway. I'm really happy you have someone in your life like that." It was true. Jimin had Jungkook, of course, but having something like Yoongi in his life put his brother at ease a little bit. He was confident that there would always be someone looking out for him when their parents don't really do the best job of that.
"Me too. I didn't even trust Taehyung enough to tell him. I think... I think Yoongi is the one. Not to sound dramatic and I know I'm really young, but, I just can't really imagine my life without him, JiHyun." Jimin said fondly.
His brother waited a moment before answering.
"From what it sounds like, I can pretty much agree with you on that one. It doesn't matter that you're young, if you meet someone that you can't remember what life was like before meeting that person, then that means something. But I do still want to meet him. I already approve, I think that's a given, but I would definitely feel a little more comfortable meeting him." JiHyun almost acted as a parent. Because Jimin can't go to his actual parents with something like this, JiHyun is the person that steps in. However, because Jimin has been hurt badly in the past, his brother is going to be a little more critical. He wouldn't be mean to Yoongi or anything like that, he just didn't want Jimin to go through anything like he did with either of his last two relationships. JiHyun had let someone that broke Jimin's spirit, into his own home and he was determined to not let that happen again.
"I really want you to meet him too. So I was thinking, maybe I can take him up to your house soon?" Jimin asked nervously. His brother would obviously say yes, but Jimin was just nervous about the situation all together. Yoongi was finally going to meet the most important person in Jimin's life and stay in his home. It was a big deal. This could make or break their relationship, depending on how that weekend would go.
