Warning: There's nothing really triggering in this chapter, but it is a really sad chapter.

"What's wrong?" He worriedly stared into his eyes.
"This... this is it, Taehyung." Jimin sniffled.
Taehyung's heart sunk. He had a little glimmer of hope that Jimin would change his mind after he talked to him, of course that was before all this happened, but even so. There was no way he could persuade him otherwise.
The tears glossed over in Taehyung's eyes threatened to fall.
"Yeah, I guess so. Just lie here with me for a little while? Please?" Taehyung didn't just want to have sex and kick Jimin out. That wouldn't have been right.
"Okay." Taehyung pulled Jimin closer, their naked bodies pressed together. Jimin rested his leg on Taehyung's legs.
Neither one of them wanted to let go.
Jimin didn't want to leave and Taehyung didn't want him to. But Jimin made his decision. He's lived without Taehyung for all this time so he can do it again. He can't trust him, he wish he could but he can't. He can't do that to himself, it's not fair. He just kept telling himself in his mind that he can do this and he doesn't need Taehyung. He tried to prove to himself it was right.
The two lie there for quite some time. It was about 20-25 minutes, but it felt like an eternity. They didn't speak the entire time, they were just sulking in the other's presence, Taehyung running his fingers through Jimin's hair, trying to convince himself he would be fine once Jimin left.
Jimin freed himself from Taehyung's grasp and sat up.
"I think I should go." Jimin looked over at Taehyung and moved the hair out of his face, keeping the strands between his fingers for a few seconds before releasing it back onto his forehead.
"Okay. I'll walk you out." Taehyung said softly. He wanted to sob. The thought of Jimin leaving again made him sick. He wanted him to lie down with him forever.
They both get up and pick up their discarded clothes from the floor. Jimin throws on the pants and sweatshirt and Taehyung puts on a new pair of underwear and his shorts from the floor.
Jimin walks out of the room first and puts on his shoes once he found them. He grabbed his keys and phone from the coffee table that were abandoned before today's earlier activities. He walked to the door while Taehyung followed, leaving no room between the two.
The boys look at each other for a few seconds before Taehyung grabs Jimin's face and presses his forehead against his own. Jimin cups Taehyung's cheeks in response.
Jimin closes his eyes and the tears fall silently. His throat was burning because of the tears he was holding back. He tried to hold it in until he left, but he couldn't.
When he opened his eyes, he saw that Taehyung was crying too.
Jimin had to leave. If he didn't then he never would and he would give in to Taehyung and he couldn't do that.
He pulled away from Taehyung, his hands still on his face. He leaned in for one last kiss, even though the first kiss they shared that day was supposed to be the last kiss.
After the kiss Taehyung pecks his nose.
"Bye, Taehyung." Jimin choked out, wiping his eyes.
"Bye, Jimin." Taehyung tried to smile through the tears.
Taehyung opened the door and Jimin walked out, not looking back.
He made it to his car. He looked out the window to see if Taehyung was still in the door, but he wasn't.
