When Jimin woke up, he had felt so refreshed that he almost wanted to cry. He hadn't had a decent sleep in what feels like forever. He gently woke up on his own terms, and early too, which is when he prefers to wake up.
He took his time getting out of bed, stretching in the process.
He stripped of his clothes and took a nice, warm shower. He was lucky enough to have a full bathroom attached to his room here just like the one he has at home with his parents.
He really couldn't wait to move in. He thinks about this all time, but even more so when he's at his brother's house.
He didn't even want to think about having to go back home. That was still a day or two away, but he wanted that thought to be his absolute last.
He often thought about dropping out of school so he could just live with his brother sooner. But there were too many non negotiable reasons as to why that just wasn't possible. First, his parents pay for him to go to school completely. He'll never have to take out a loan if his parents are paying for it. Where would he go to school then? How would he pay for it? Which leads into the next reason, he has never had a job. His parents handed him everything he ever needed and they weren't strict about him not having a job. He had no experience so it would be impossible for him to find one if he didn't go to school. And of course, if he dropped out and went to live with his brother, that would be it. He would live with him permanently and would probably never go back to his parents. He needed their support. Well, their financial support and stability anyway.
He tried his best to push that thought away, even though it was tempting and got more and more tempting as time went on.
Determined to not think about his parents for the remainder of his time with his brother, he took a deep breath and wrapped a towel around his waist.
He quickly dried off, brushed his hair, and slipped into some comfy clothes before heading downstairs to join his brother and brother's girlfriend.
He was greeted with the smell of food, which almost made him sick because he really hated eating right when he woke up.
Jennie and Ji-Hyun were sitting at the kitchen table, both with cups of coffee along with a plate of food.
"Good morning, buddy. How did you sleep?" Ji-Hyun greeted Jimin.
"I slept great, actually, last night was the best I've slept in a while."
"Good, I'm glad." Ji-Hyun nodded and took a sip of his coffee. "Are you hungry?"
Jimin sat down at the table with them.
"Not right now, I'll eat in a little bit."
"Okay. Help yourself whenever you get hungry, you know where everything is."
Jimin nodded.
"Is there anything you wanted to do this weekend, Jimin?" Jennie asked Jimin.
Jimin thought for a second.
"I didn't really think of anything." Jimin shrugged. He was perfectly fine with just hanging out with them at the house, but if they wanted to do something he was okay with that too. "But I'm down to do whatever."
"I was thinking maybe we can take the dogs on a walk to the park? And get lunch together if we're hungry?" Jennie suggested.
"That sounds like a great idea, honey."Ji-hyun agreed.
"Yeah, I'm okay with that."
"Okay, great!" Jennie smiled. "After we finish our breakfast and if you want to eat, Jimin, then we can go!"
Jimin nodded, excited about the relaxing day ahead of him.
On the other hand, Yoongi wasn't so relaxed.
Jimin hadn't really looked at his phone much this weekend, and it worried Yoongi to no end. He thought Jimin didn't want to talk to him or he was ignoring him or something. He knew Jimin was going to be at his brother's house for the weekend, but he had a hard time believing that he didn't even check his phone.
He was more worried than he should've been, granted. But still.
Not being able to focus on literally anything, he decided to text Hoseok.
Y: Hobi
H: Yoongi
Y: This sounds kind of stupid, but Jimin isn't answering any of my texts
Y: I sound desperate, great
H: Isn't he staying with his brother this weekend?
Y: Yeah, but still. Like you really think he hasn't checked his messages once?
Y: But what if he did and he just didn't wanna answer
H: Or maybe he's just spending time with his brother and isn't really talking to anyone?
Y: I guess that could be true
H: That's probably what it is, dude
Y: But what if he's ignoring me
H: I highly doubt that, I think you're just being a little dramatic
H: Why would he be ignoring you?
Y: Idk maybe he felt uncomfortable going to my party and I made him feel weird?
H: I feel like he would've told you or he wouldn't have came if he would feel weird
Y: Yeah you're right. He probably would have
Y: Sorry, I know I sound ridiculous. It's really stupid
H: You're not ridiculous and it's not stupid. You like him, dude. You clearly want to just hang out with him and talk to him. I get it
Y: Okay...true. But I'm still his friend ya know.
H: Oh I know that. But you're still pretty damn gay for him regardless
Y: Goodbye
Y: Not wrong
Y: But seriously GOODBYE
H: Lmao
H: Seriously though just relax he's probably just doing stuff or just wanting to hang out with his brother. I'm sure it's nothing personal
Y: Yeah you're right. I just don't want him to like not wanna hang out anymore. I know that's very unlikely but still. I enjoy hanging out with him.
H: I know, and you're right it is very unlikely but just wait until Sunday to see if he answers and if not then ask him to hang out when you see him in class on Monday
Y: Ahhhh okay. Good idea
H: I know. Do you feel better now drama queen?
Y: Yes i do. Thank you
H: That's what I'm here for
Yoongi knew that Hoseok really was right. Jimin was probably just spending time with his brother and didn't want to talk to anyone. He had no reason to ignore Yoongi and he didn't say anything about being uncomfortable at his party. He didn't want to bombard him with messages though. So he would wait until he either answered him or would see him in class on monday, whichever came first.

Also how cute is Yoongi? He's worried Jimin doesn't wanna talk to him omg. He's already so whipped for Jimin it's adorable.
