Arthit laid his head on Kongpob's arm. He was so tired. He wanted to sleep. It had been three days since he had brought Kongpob to this house. He had been so tensed on the first night. Kongpob was burning with fever. He kept moaning in his sleep. No matter what Arthit did, Kongpob was not having any relief. He kept on tossing and turning and moaning the whole night. Arthit had been so worried that he was tempted to bring Kongpob to the ship and bring him to the demon planet. There, they might have a solution for him. Demons could heal demons. But then, in the morning, Kongpob was less feverish. However, he kept on throwing up again. He kept saying: "It hurts.. Make it stop.." Arthit shook his head as he remembered how Kongpob had looked this past three days. It was torture to look at him.

It was just last night that Kongpob had started to sleep peacefully. Arthit sighed. Hopefully, Kongpob would wake up. It looked like he was no longer in pain. Arthit thought about Slate. He really hoped that Slate was alright too. Zeus had said that the poison was designed for demons. So, it could affect Slate more than Kongpob. No wonder, Kongpob had been throwing up that much. Arthit scratched the cat's head absently. The cat had been sitting next to Arthit all the time. Waiting for his master's recovery. Arthit's head was still lowered when Kongpob opened his eyes. He stared at the ceiling for a moment. Where was he? He tried to move his head and winced with pain. His body ached all over.He felt something on his arm. He turned his head slightly and realised that it was his soulmate, sitting next to him.

Kongpob whispered Arthit's name weakly. The latter raised his head in surprise. His face brightened as he saw that his assassin was finally awake. He instantly touched Kongpob's forehead and noticed that he was no longer with fever. He sighed, very relieved. He whispered while he brushed Kongpob's cheek with his hand: "You are back." He stroked his thumb tenderly on Kongpob's cheek. He watched his assassin's face and saw how Kongpob tried to lick his dry lips. He got up and said: "I'll be right back." And as soon as he got up, the cat which was sitting at Arthit's feet climbed on the sofa and nuzzled Kongpob's neck gently. He meowed happily. Kongpob smiled as he stroked the cat. Arthit stood there, all dazed by that smile that Kongpob gave his cat. He then shook his head as he moved towards the kitchen. Was it possible to be jealous of a cat?

He prepared some juice for Kongpob. How was the fridge so full of things, he did not know. But then, his Kongpob was a man of mystery as Arthit remembered how the door unlocked as soon as the system scanned them. He brought the juice and placed the straw near his soulmate's mouth. Kongpob raised his eyes to look at him. There were a lot of questions in those eyes. He tentatively opened his mouth and started to drink, still watching Arthit who was holding the drink for him. The latter smiled at him. He was trying to make sense of Kongpob's expression right now. When Kongpob saw Arthit's smile at him, he lowered his gaze. He pushed the straw away and whispered, his voice still weak: "No more." Arthit placed the glass on the coffee table and asked Kongpob: "Are you okay? Is the poison still affecting you?"

Kongpob shook his head and closed his eyes. Arthit waited. He knew what was coming. He crossed his arms. Seconds later, Kongpob opened his eyes to look at Arthit, his expression terrified. He asked him: "How many days have I been unconscious?" Arthit said: "Three days." Kongpob pushed the blanket off him and tried to get up. Arthit stopped him and said: "You are still weak. Don't move that much." Kongpob ignored him and stood up, walking unsteadily towards the door. Arthit came to stand in front of the door and said determinedly: "You are not going anywhere, Adrestia." He sensed that Kongpob was not ready to hear him say his real name. Kongpob frowned at him and said in a cold voice: "Move away from the door. You already messed things up already. I must see that Yo is safe. Zeus will be searching for him now."

Arthit sighed. He tried to place his hand on Kongpob's chest but Kongpob moved away from his touch. Arthit felt a pain in his chest. He said quietly: "I did not have a choice. I just said that because you were in danger at that time. I had to save you." Kongpob replied coldly: "It does not matter to me if I died. That does not mean that you had to say that Yo was alive. You don't know anything about us. About what happened that forced us to pretend that Yo was dead. Now move out of my way, Arthit." Arthit was about to reply when he saw Kongpob close his eyes and was about to fall. He moved forward to grab him and sighed: "There is no use in arguing when you are feeling this weak." He helped Kongpob back to the sofa and said: "I'll get you something to eat. Just stay here."
