Beam was sitting on the floor, breathing with much difficulty. He was looking at the bed, glaring hard at the vampire. Half week was gone by now and Beam was feeling his strength decreasing by a rapid rate. He was feeling dizzy too often. He had the feeling that he was soon going to be bedridden since he was feeling so weak. He leant back and looked at the ceiling. Tew had informed him that someone from their gang was coming to help him out. But Beam was not worried. Since the beginning, he was okay with dying. It was his friends who were doing their best to help him and for that he was grateful. But he could also understand if they could not help him. He sighed as he glanced at the bed again. Prem's concoction was very effective. Forth still could not move at all. He just wished that Prem's concoction could shut him up too.

Forth was saying: "How could you be such a fool? I can hear your erratic breathing. You could just come with me to get your life source. I am seriously not aiming to kill you. Hello? Elf prince are you even listening?" Beam rolled his eyes. He was seriously getting tired of listening to that guy. Forth sighed and complained some more: "You could talk to me.. I am getting bored lying on the bed like this... In fact, you can also not talk to me.. Just come to bed and entertain me.. I seriously want to explore that hot chemistry between us.."  Beam blushed but said quietly: "I am not interested to explore it though." Forth chuckled and said: "Too bad, I am a good catch though."

He was still rolling his eyes when he heard his bedroom door open and Bright came in, looking very serious. He came straight for Beam and knelt in front of him. Beam stared at him in shock. "All of the persons that I was expecting, you were the last one in that list. Why are you sacrificing all that you kept hidden till now?" Bright winked at him and said: "Because it is time." He bent his head and said: "We, metamorphs and elves have been allies since a very long time. The memories of my ancestors are here with me.And you know very well how your parents helped me. So, please let me help you." Beam shook his head and said: "You are the last one of your kind and you are going to be in danger if other species get to know about this." Bright stood up and removed his glove from his right hand. "You cannot stop me and you know it. I am just helping a friend. Nothing more."

He walked to the bed and straddled Forth. The latter glared at Bright and said coldly: "I asked the elf prince to entertain me and not somebody else." Bright chuckled and replied: "I don't play with anyone unless there are chains or whips involved. So, for now, let's just be friends.." He took a deep breath and gently touched Forth's cheek with his naked hand. Forth grit his teeth and glared at the person straddling him. The person sitting on him was now completely transformed. He became Forth. It was like Forth was looking at himself in a mirror. This was weird as hell. There were two identical Forths on the bed. Beam got up and came to stand near the bed. He watched Bright with amazed eyes. This was a rare sight. Bright never used his power unless they were in a mess during missions.

Beam watched as his friend's eyes filled with tears and he looked at the real Forth in pity. Beam was perplexed. What was Bright seeing in Forth's memories that was making him so sad? Bright, still looking at Forth whispered: "You locked it away." Forth glared at him and hissed: "You had no right to do this, metamorph. No right at all." Bright stopped touching him and regained his usual appearance to finally look at Beam. "Wad is on his way to get your life source. He is a vampire, so he would be fine in the vampire planet. I just told him where it was.", he said. "A place way too obvious.", he said to Forth. Beam looked surprised and exclaimed: "You know where it is?" Bright nodded and said while laughing: "I saw it in his memories. It is in fact under his pillow." Beam rolled his eyes. He should have expected this from that annoying vampire. He then was sure that he was going to get his life source soon. Wad was a trained assassin and he would get into that guy's chamber with no problem at all. Beam gave out a relieved sigh; he was not going to die then.
