The crickets was singing at night when I was trying to go to sleep. I couldn't sleep cause I kept thinking about what Jeremy told me in the kitchen. It really made me feel some type of way like I really want to be with him but..... God this is confusing.

I turn to the window seeing the moon and stars shining down on me. I miss watching the stars with my mom and da....... I forgot. He ain't my dad. Mufusa is my father. But Abu treated me like I was his own. He thought that I was his but my mom never told him. Or had the time to tell him.

I sat up in bed bringing my legs towards my chest. I put my head into my legs just thinking how my life went to a good ass life with my parents to a bad ass life with some alpha who I don't really know.

"You up?"I heard a voice say at the door. I look at the door seeing Jeremy with two champagne glasses.

"That's for me?"I smiled.

"For us"he said walking into my room. He sat down on the bed and smiled at me. He have such a pretty smile and vibe to him. He knows how to treat a woman. Doesn't matter what race they come from.

"Mmmmm, what's the occasion? What's going on?"I ask.

"Just wanted to talk to you"he said.

"I really like you Melanie, your beautiful and I want to be with you"that's a shock.

"You serious Jeremy. Me?"I pointed to myself.

"Yeah, you make me laugh and I feel like myself around you"Jeremy said.

"You make me feel like myself too. I feel like I know you already"I smiled. Jeremy came close to me then kiss my lips. Like a little peck. He pull back looking me into the eyes. "Wow"I laugh.

"You like that?"he ask biting his lips.

"Yeah, I felt something"I said. "Something special gone happen between us"

"Yeah"

We kissed for a while till I heard the door move a bit. I look at the door but didn't see anyone. Guess it was my imagination.
