I slept and slept in the car till it finally stop. I look out the window seeing trees and a big ass house. Where am I? I raised up looking at the house seeing people outside looking back at the car.
"Shit"I said.
"Shit is right. Your pack misses you"Averett said.
"This ain't my pack"I said.
"Your mom pack"Cullen said. These females open the door for Cullen and then the trunk door. The grabbed me so roughly throwing me on the ground. "Be careful with her. She's my niece"Cullen growled at them.
"Sorry alpha"they bowed to him.
"Take her to the room and lock her there till I say she can come out"my dad said.
"What?"I looked at him.
"Just go now"he said then walked off.
"Let's go princess"the lady said causing the others to laugh. I guess these are the warriors. Kind of strange that females are warriors and not the males.
They walked me inside the big ass house which was a castle. I looked around looking at the pictures of Cullen and Averett.
"In here"they pushed me inside the room then close the door. I look at the blue walls sighing heavily. I'm stuck here and I want to leave. But I want to do one last thing. I want to see my sister.
"How can I leave?"I mumble. I looked out the window seeing my dad and Averett talking to each other. I press my ear to the window so I can hear what they was saying.
"I think we should let her go Averett. She don't want to stay here"- dad
"She will. I want her and her sister to work for me. And her mother"- Averett
"I'll take them with me. Rebuild my pack and make Mary Ann my Luna"- dad
"I'll think about it brother. But for right now, Melanie needs to learn"- Averett
"Learn what? She didn't anything wrong. You heard what Maynard said, that was his Luna. I was fine with it Averett"- dad
"But I wasn't. And I said what I said"
Averett walked away from my dad leaving him there. I backed away from the window and went to the door. The door was locked and I couldn't open it. I started beating on the door and screaming to be let out.
"Please!!"I yelled. I rubbed my hair sliding down the door crying again. It's okay to cry. I would always tell myself that. Ain't nothing wrong with crying.
As I laid down on the floor, the sun was going down making the room a bit darker. I sniffle a bit then looked at the window.
"Madam, can you please move behind the door"I heard some girl say. I hurried and move so I can escape this room. The door open showing my mother and an other girl carrying a tray.
"Mom"I hugged her so tight crying.
"I know sweetheart"she rubbed my back.
"I want to go back and see if he's okay"I said.
"He is. Trust me"she said.
"No he isn't"I cried. "he's dead. They killed him"
"We have to escape now mom, this is getting out of hand with Cullen and Averett"the girl said.
"Melanie this is Malika, your sister"my mom said. I just looked at her. I don't know how to feel towards her.
"Hi"was all she said.
"Hello"I said back.
"We can't escape now. But we have to get under Cullen and Averett skin. They won't let us be together"my mom said.
"Why? They know your our mother, they know how we fill about you"I said.
"Yes but they also know that I'm trying to escape. Now that I have y'all by my side, they see y'all as a threat and trying to help me escape"my mom said.
"Dad wanted us all together with him. Rebuild a new pack"I said.
"He said that?"my mom eyes sparkle.
"Yes"I said. "He said it"
"I have to speak with him"she said. "Malika, stay here with Melanie. Get to know each other. I'll be right back" my mom walked out the room leaving me with Malika.
