Episode 9: Blinded By Love- Downtime/Elimination

"Welcome back to Total Drama Island: Return to Wawanakwa," Chris welcomed, "Before the break, the Merciless Moose lost the 50's themed drinking challenge, forcing them to vote one of their own out of the game tonight. Let's take a look at what the other campers have planned for tonight."

In a change of events, the camera panned in on the beach, where Alexander & Katelyn were talking. Both of them knew that they were potential targets, especially Alexander. He needed any ally that he could find; with Katelyn in almost the same position that he was, he hoped to solidify some sort of alliance with her.

"Look, I get that I haven't had the best attitude here, but I'll bet you anything that there isn't a single person here who doesn't have a screw loose," Alexander remarked as he threw a stone into the water.

"I hear that," Katelyn agreed.

"The biggest thing that I can offer you is my vote," Alexander admitted, "I'm a walking target, but I'll tell you right now that this is the perfect time to get rid of a silent threat."

"I'm walking on thin ice; I'm confident that Daniel & Amalia are going to vote for me. My best bet is to get to Katelyn & Rhythm and convince them that it's better to split up the couple."- Alexander

"Who in your mind is the 'silent threat'?" Katelyn asked, curious.

"Obviously, Daniel & Amalia are big threats that aren't being noticed," Alexander answered, hoping to put a target on their backs, "The thing is that with them two, if you have one of them, you have both of them; they're not gonna vote against each other without a good reason."

"Yeah, I believe that," Katelyn admitted as she looked back at the campsite, "They're almost inseparable."

"Especially with the merge coming up, it'll be really difficult to separate them," Alexander noted, "They're gonna have each other's back 'till the end; if they make the final four, they're gonna get to the final two without any trouble."

"Alexander is bringing up some pretty good points. I get that I have an alliance with Daniel & Amalia, but when push comes to shove, I know that they'd protect each other over me. This might be my only chance to regain power in the game."- Katelyn

"What do you want to do about it?" Katelyn asked.

"Well obviously the ideal option is for you, me, and Rhythm to band together and vote for one of the couple," Alexander explained.

"The problem is that Rhythm doesn't like me," Katelyn revealed, "I don't know if she'll run with us or not."

"I haven't talked to Rhythm since the first team swap, so I don't know if she's still against me. Honestly, I wouldn't want to even chance it."- Katelyn

"If that's the case, we also have 'plan B'," Alexander revealed.

"What's plan B?" Katelyn asked, a bit scared.

"For once, I actually have a bit of crucial information that no one else does. I've been waiting for the right time to use it, and I see no reason why I shouldn't use it now."- Alexander

While Alexander talked to Katelyn about the possibility of splitting up a couple, Kiana talked to Veronica about the possibility of bringing a couple together. As they sat in Veronica's bedroom, Kiana ranted to Veronica about her crush on Devin and how she can find out if he likes her back.
