Debo's POV
I was so excited that I'd finally gotten her to say yes to me. Oba noticed my mood immediately and guessed what happened.
Fortunately, all the guys in the room were my classmates so we could talk freely.
" Debo, I salute you oh. You be baba for this matter. So she said yes just like that?" Akin asked
" Why she no go gree? You no know say our guy too fine ni?" Oba replied
" Omo, you don make me fall in love."
Akin sang and I hit his head
" Guy now, wetin do you?" He said
" Sorry " I replied
Call me crazy,call me stupid but I was in love.

Second term had begun and it included serious reading because our SSCE exams were starting in three months time.
I began to study like never before because I didn't want to disappoint my parents. Adesua was really nice. I could not help loving her. She was the perfect girlfriend. She would wake me up to read during prep and wake up if I fell asleep.
" Hey wake up." I felt someone tapping my shoulder
" Yeah...." I replied sleepily. I looked up to see Adesua
" You slept off, again." She said smiling at me
" Oh,I'm really tired. I need to sleep."
I replied,letting out a loud yawn.
" You can go. You slept throughout prep and it's almost lights out."
I looked around and saw that the room was almost empty. I held her and kissed her goodnight.
" Let me walk you to your hostel." I said,taking her hand
" No way, boys aren't allowed." She replied and kissed my cheek before leaving.
