Akin's POV
I was so devastated when I found my best friend kissing my girlfriend in the library. I turned around and left the library. I was really shocked to discover that Gabby was cheating on me which was why I was really shocked to hear Debo's confession this evening.
After that day in the library, Gabby and I had a huge fight and we broke up. I was surprised to see her hanging around Debo the following day.
(Back to reality)
"So it was all a lie?" I asked and Debo nodded
"Oh no I messed up. Big time." I said, holding my forehead
What have I done?
I got up from my chair without even realising it.
"Where are you going? " Oba asked
"I need to go and talk to Gabby. "
"Yeah,that's the spirit. "
I walked over to Gabby's table and held her hand.
"We need to talk." I said
GABRIELLA'S POV
I was really surprised when Akin came to meet me in the dining hall.
"We need to talk." He said,taking my hand
I'm not sure what he wants to talk about
Should I follow him?
Should I not follow him?
I reluctantly decided to follow him after much persuasion. We went outside and I folded my arms to listen to what he wanted to say.
"Gabby, I'm really sorry. Debo just told me what really happened. I know it's because you were mad at me that you agreed to date him and I know you are also doing it to help Adesua. I should never have ended things with you. Please can you find a place in your heart to forgive me?" He pleaded
I heaved a sigh. I didn't know if I was ready to forgive him or not. I really didn't know what to say so I just nodded.
Akin's POV
I was really surprised that Gabby agreed to take me back. I was relieved because I loved her too much to let her go easily. We patched things up and became closer than ever.

(Two weeks later)
I was studying for my NECO exams when Gabby came to sit beside me.
"Akin, we need to talk. " she began
Who else thinks this is a scary line when you are in a relationship?
I closed the book I was reading and dropped my pen on the table. I turned to face her, fearing the worst.
"Akin, I really don't know how to say this but I think we should break up. "
