I smiled down at my computer screen watching Mac walk through the Nigerian town he was currently in. I'd kept an eye on him for sometime, watching his solo mission he went on himself which only ended badly and now his move to Nigeria. A single tear made its way down my face as I watched him pull a woman close and place his lips on hers. I could still almost feel the sensation on my own lips as if he was still kissing me.

I was almost saddened by the action but at the same time it brought me joy to know that Mac had been able to move on. I'd seen him with Nikki for that short period and I could tell that wasn't real. She was more of a distraction for him than anything else. But this girl here, the way he held her and looked at her, I knew it was real. I knew because he use to look at me the same way.

The door opened to my room and my lone tear was immediately gone as if it was never even there. I looked up to see Brody walking in without saying a word to me. He was just getting back from his mediatory physical therapy session and I could tell by his expression that he was exhausted from it. I didn't blame me, the physical therapy here is excruciating. They strive to get you back to peak performance in the quickest time possible.

With a single key stroke the images of Mac were gone from my computer. I wasn't quite as good as Riley when it came to these things so the satellite I was using to monitor Mac was delayed. That being said, the footage I got was always several days old before it came to my computer.

I chuckled at Brody when he face planted into his pillow on the bed beside me. Without much thought I began running my hands through his short sweaty hair. I would of continued on with the act had my phone not started buzzing on the counter beside the bed. I reached over and grabbed it with ruffled eyebrows. Every one I was currently in contact with was in this very building, why would anyone be calling me?

I froze when I saw the contact name. Why would she be calling me? Is everything okay? Should I even answer? What is she is going to try and guilt me into coming back? What if something has happened to Mac? Maybe I should answer... or maybe...

The call went to voicemail before I could even make up my mind. Maybe it's for the best. Who knows what would have happened if I had. I've tried to forget that group... but who can just forget their family like that. Still, I did my best to keep my distance while still making sure they were still safe.

A matter of minutes after I'd missed the call on my own phone a woman entered the room with our building's landline phone in her hand.

"So sorry Agent Miller," she spoke softly looking over at the sleeping boy next to me, "There is a Matilda Webber on the phone for you. She seems very keen on getting in touch with you."

I sighed and extended my arm to the woman for the phone. This woman did not give up. Did she not understand that I was trying to move on.

"This better be important Matty," I huffed into the phone upon putting it up to my ear.

"Its Murdoc," was all she had to say for me to be on my feet and out the room.

"You found him?" I questioned in a hopeful tone.

"No but-," Matty let her voice trail until it faded to nothing. And thats when my heart dropped.

"What happened?" I demanded from her through nearly gritted teeth.
