Skye pov.

"Yeah we were legends, lovin' you baby... it was heaven.... what everyone wondered we never questioned, closed our eyes and took on the world together...." I sang the song as I sat in the war room alone, surrounded by fogged glass. I fiddled with the ring on my finger, knowing I would never take it off.

"Do you remember...? We were crazy," I smiled to myself feeling the tears prick my eyes, "tragic and epic and so amazing... I'll always wear the crown that you gave me. We will always stay lost in forever.... and they'll remember..." I was not doing the song justice anymore as I carelessly carried on the tune. A single tear managed itself from my eye before I could stop it. But after that the crying was over and gone as if it'd never happened. My boss, Matty Webber entered the room with a stern look upon her face.

"I guess I should of expected at leas one of you to pull a stunt like this," she sighed upon looking at me.

"I'm sorry," I replied not very genuinely but Matty understood. She took a step towards me as her expression softened greatly. Placing a gentle hand on mine she let out a large huff.

"You know you've always got a job here when you're done," she never looked up at me as she spoke and I knew why. This had become my family. Only a couple years with these people and I already couldn't imagine my life without them.

"You'll let me know when you arrive..." Matty trailed off. We both knew that she would know because she knows everything. But she was just bringing a concern out into the open.

"It would probably be best if I just... kept my distance," I lied. That wouldn't be good for anyone. But I knew that if I kept in touch then it would only remind me of pain. On the other hand if I didn't the pain still wouldn't ever go away.

Matty nodded silently. She took a few steps back allowing me to stand. I made my way for the door and when it opened I was actually surprised at the number of faces I saw standing there.

A few of them I recognized and some of them I didn't. I walked past the line of people as they gave me a nod of goodbye. One very y'all muscled man I recognized as the man that I'd beat in the training room when I'd tried proving to Matty the I was field ready after recovering from being shot. Finally I got to the group of people that I now and forever will know of as my family.

Riley came forward giving me a tight hug. And then Bozer followed doing the same. When I got to Jack I stopped, noticing that he was in fact the last one in line.

"Where is he?" I questioned as Jack wrapped his arms tightly around me.

"He told me not to tell you," he sighed as I began to pull away.

I just gave him a look and he smirked at me.

"He's in the lab," Jack informed me tilting his head that direction.

"Thanks Jack," I smiled and reached up placing a soft daughterly peck on his cheek before scampering off towards Mac.

Mac pov.

If I twist this here and then... well maybe if I... to be honest I wasn't even sure what I was doing anymore. But like always as soon as I felt that way the voice of an angel entered my ears encouraging me.

"If making weird things out of gum wrappers and paperclips was an Olympic sport, you'd be the undefeated gold metal champion," she chuckled crossing her arms over her chest. I looked up at her with a serious look. That's when her face softened and so did her voice.

"You weren't going to say goodbye?" She asked.

"Why do you keep saying goodbye?" I stood fully now placing my hands on either side of her arms.
