Mac pov.

We walked through the doors to my house, Skye holding Stone and Jack following behind as well.

"Home sweet home," I smiled throwing the keys down on the counter as we passed the kitchen.

"Something like that," I heard Skye mumble from under her breath.

I stopped and turned to look at Skye.

"What's that suppose to mean?" I questioned

"What's that suppose to mean?" I questioned. Skye sighed and looked back at Jack. She handed Stone off to him and he nodded heading to the back with the sleeping boy.

"Just say it, Skye," I said raising my arms, "There's obviously something on your mind, so just let it out."

"Ok," she nodded taking a deep breath, "I'm going to tell you the same thing I told you the other day at the hospital..."

I rolled my eyes knowing where this was going.

"I don't think Stone is safe here anymore," she said.

"Where else do you want to take him?" I shot back quickly.

"Anywhere else!" She shouted, "somewhere off the grid where Walsh can't find him."

"And what are we suppose to do then- huh?" I questioned, "Just hide Stone for the rest of his life?"

"Just until Walsh is behind bars or in the ground," Skye sighed shaking her head. I stood there just looking at her, not prepared to have my opinion swayed at all. I'd finally gotten my son back and she wasn't going to take him away again now. The girl let out a huff as she walked past me.

"We never work well when we're like this," she said softly, standing with her arms crossed over her chest and her back to me.

"What do you mean like this?" I asked trying to be gentle but I'm sure the question came across harshly.

"You know exactly what I mean," she turned back to me with tears in her eyes. "Why is it when we aren't... together, we can't agree on anything?"

"Even if we were together I'd never agree to what you're suggesting!" I shouted stepping toward her.

"This is exactly what I mean!" She threw her hands up, rolling her eyes at me.

"I know what you mean," I sighed calming a bit, "but that doesn't change the fact that we just got our son back... do we really want to take him away from his home again?"

"Mac," Skye shook her head as she walked toward me, "this has been his home for all of a week at most."

"This as always been his home," I said trying to hold back the tears through closed teeth.

"We wanted it to be," she nodded, "and if it wasn't for Walsh then it would be... But it's not."

We stood there in silence for a moment as I just looked at her.
