Just Wanna Have Fun

Now that we were back from Canada, Shancai and, Xiaoyou were dragging me to their high school reunion.

They wanted me to spend time with them especially since Shancai and I made up. But I felt weird going. It wasn't my reunion. Yet Xiaoyou said they wouldn't mind me there. As long as I was on their good side.

I knew my outfit wasn't bad. So I knew I looked presentable.

I wore a skater skirt that looked both a deep red and purple with a black long sleeve crop top. I let my hair loose in curls with a coat in my hand in case I got cold.

Honestly I think going to this high school reunion was probably going to be good for me. After all, I didn't have to hang out with Mira and Chen.

But also I didn't have the best of memories of highschool. Luckily with this I could have somewhat fun and meet new people.

I parked my car and hurried inside the restaurant instantly seeing Quinghe, Xiaoyou, and Shancai laughing and smiling with a decent big size group.

Quinghe and the guy they were talking to noticed me. I awkwardly waved smiling,"Kiara!" Quinghe beamed.

"Hey Quinghe" I grinned about to pull him into a hug but he pouted gesturing to his phone. I looked at it seeing it was pictures that Shancai had posted while we were in Canada.

"You guys forgot about me!"

I winced,"Sorry Quinghe. But I found out last minute about the trip. I didn't have time to think about anything else. But I'll make sure you and Li Zhen come next time"

His pout disappeared with a approved smile,"Okay I'm counting on your words."

"Kiara finally you made it!" Shancai exclaimed happily. I nodded gesturing to the clock,"I was worried I might've came late"

"Not at all" the guy who I noticed earlier spoke. He chuckled putting his hand out for me to shake,"I'm Yan Zhibu"

With Zhibu and Shancai telling me stories about their highschool experience I laughed at the ridiculous ones as at some point we ended having a small food fight.

Until we now were playing some game.

They were combining all these nasty ingredients together in a cup forcing one of us to down it completely. I stared at it in disgust resisting the urge to gag.

Shancai who sat the center stared at it grossed out by it too. Xiaoyou shook her head not wanting to participate in it,"This is too nasty. I don't want to play" Shancai complained.

"Me neither" Xiaoyou and I said at the same time.

Zhibu grinned shaking his head,"No, it's been so long. Nobody's going to escape"

Quinghe nodded agreeing,"Alright. Everyone get ready. Black or white–!"

I put my palm facing up.

I looked at everyone's palm noticing that Shancai, Zhibu, Quinghe and I the only ones who had it the same way.

Everyone gushed playfully making cheerful sounds.

"Drink, drink, drink—"

Great. I really don't want to do this.
