For the past days things between Shancai, Li Zhen and I weren't as bad as I thought they would be. They understood that the reason why I acted that way was to defend them both.
But they felt hurt that they didn't know I had wealth. I only told them that the money that I had was really my familys and never considered it mine.
Which was the truth.
At this moment Mr. Wang in the limo dropped me off at the corner leaving me to walk all the way to class. But first I wanted to head straight to my locker and put some off my heavy text books inside.
When I came inside the building I rushed not bothering to go and meet up with the three since today was suppose to be a free study time for students who needed it.
And I needed it.
I put my backpack in front of my feet putting the combination in. I then opened my locker and just as I was about to push the texts books in the first thing I saw hanging in my locker was a joker card.
I widened my eyes dropping the books that slammed to the floor.
Eyes were on me now looking inside my locker. They gasped when seeing the joker card.
I knew what this meant. That junior was talking about how the only way to challenge F4 was to get a joker card.
Guess I won't have time to study.
Angrily, I grabbed the joker card and put all the stuff in my locker before heading down to find Si and his group.
I in no way wanted to challenge them. I did and said all that because I was upset seeing my past about to be repeated.
Nothing else.
When I came across the basketball court I saw Si playing with a couple of guys trying to shoot the ball in the hoop.
I marched up to the boys and ignored the girls that were first cheering now whispering about my actions.
When the ball bounced away from the hoop I quickly caught it now having the boys eyes on me.
I looked down at the ball and immediately made eye contact with Si. It seemed that he read my mind. Since he began to walk towards me with his hands at his hips.
His mouth went to open but I beat it to him,"I saw what you put in my locker today" I began, opening my palm that had the crumbed Joker card.
I tossed him it,"I don't want to challenge you nor I'm not apologizing to you. But I don't need a card to give me permission to over power you"
Instantly Si laughed amused,"Shancai and now you? You both are starting to push me over my limits"
"What can I say? Treat one like a maid, treat the other like a peasant" I mocked.
