Eren's POV:

It's. Levi. The Levi. It was rumored he made some guys gay at first sight! What if that was me?

I am not gay.

Why am I so nervous?

"H-hi..." I scoot to the edge of my chair, farthest away from Levi.

"What subject are we working on?" He said, rather grumpily. He pulled a nearby chair up to the table, awkwardly close to me.

I slid my history book towards Levi.

"Tch, history? Easiest subject there is." I slightly turned my head and looked at Levi's eyes, grey. His facial expression was blank, like he couldn't feel.

"Oi, brat." Levi snapped his fingers. I really need to stop being distracted by my thoughts.

Mental Note: Do not get distracted by thoughts.

I quickly opened up to the chapter we were currently reading.

"Which teacher do you have?"

"Mr. Smith, sir."

"Don't call me sir." He snapped.

"Okay.." My ears flushed pink from embarrassment, same with the apples of my cheeks.

"All you need to know for the test what year titans became extinct, and some vocabulary."

"O-okay."

"Stop stuttering, it's annoying."

"Okay." I looked down at my hands folded in my lap.

"Stop saying okay, this isn't the Fault in Our Stars!"

"Ok-" He gave me a death glare. I bit my lip in shame.

"Next subject."

This was going to be a long night.

Levi left.

Finally.

I went into my room and checked my digital alarm clock.

10:42pm.

Wait, 10:42?!

It was really late, past my curfew. I like staying up late, but my dad doesn't. Speaking of parents, I only have one, which is Grisha. My mom died from a heart attack. I don't talk about it much, it hurts to bring up the past.

I laid down on my bed, ignoring my grumbling stomach. And my throbbing head. Ouch.

Levi was a dick, but something made me wonder about him. He was just so, mysterious, it was kind of sexy.

I did not-

He is not sexy. And I am not gay.

My day didn't start as great as I hoped. Well, it didn't really start, either. By start, I mean something interesting.

I put on my second set of the school uniform, and ate cereal. It was rainy outside, too.

Great way to start the day.

I got to my locker and rummaged around my backpack for my homework.

Where is my homework? I remember seeing a stack of papers and eraser shavings on my desk at home before I left.

Dammit.

Would I have time to run home and get my homework?

It's pouring rain, Eren.

You could always try, Eren.

And so I did.
