Elton woke up in the middle of the night, quiet sobs awakening him.
He turned to see Corey, in the bed, crying in his sleep.

Elton wasn't even sure that was possible, but it apparently was.
He gulped, putting a hand on Corey's shoulder.

"Core...Corey." He whispered.
Corey mumbled in his sleep.
"Corey." Elton said a little loudly.
Corey sat up, breathing heavily.
He looked at Elton, blushing and looking down.

"Are you okay?" Elton asked.
Corey looked up at him.
Corey shook his head "no".

Elton scooted to be beside Corey, hugging him.

Corey sobbed into Elton's shoulder.
He tried to speak, but couldn't.
"Sh..." Elton said gently.
"Don't speak...just let it out." Elton whispered.

Corey sobbed into Elton's shoulder, Elton holding him close.
"I'm sorry." Corey whispered between sobs.
Elton shook his head, sniffling.
"I'm the worst human." Corey cried.
Elton shook his head.

"No, you're really not." Elton said.
Elton stroked Corey's hair.
Corey cried even louder.
"I'm sorry!" Corey cried.
Elton gently kissed Corey's head.

Corey tried to speak again, Corey simply stuttering out sobs.
Elton hugged him close, not letting go.

Eventually, the younger male fell asleep.
Elton kissed Corey's forehead.
He laid the male down, wiping a few tears off his face.
"I've been through heartbreak, you're not the only one who's done it." Elton whispered.

He threw the blanket over them, this time, falling asleep while facing Corey.
