The Runaways

Chapter 36

The Fourth Wall

--- Fabulous France's POV ---

"I just had the best time of my life!" I cheered as I walked onto my ship.

"How come?" My friend, Osiris asked.

"Well, I'm finally back from a party in the mainland and it was so perfect! This curious looking man had a banana!"

"A banana, sir?" Osiris asked me.

"Yes!" I laughed, "Tell me Osiris, have you ever taken a banana to a French party?"

"No sir." He responded.

"Well you should." I advised.

I turned over towards the navigator and pointed him and another man towards the wheel. "We are off to sea, men. Off to the magnificent island where Spain lives to give him a visit, so let's go!" I ordered. The men happily complied and walked off to work.

"Osiris, with me now." I commanded. He nodded politely and walked beside me as we headed to a table I have set out that over looks all of the sea. The night sky covered us in its dark blanket, giving it a suspenseful feeling. We both sat down and I poured some wine. Red, of course.

"So you want a lift to Spain's island, we are now headed in that general direction, so tell me, so you think you might be able to kill him this time?" I asked as I took a sip of my drink.

Osiris was quick to shake his head. "You have said it yourself, sir, and though I am not human either, I still cannot kill him. However I can cause damage."

"Damage?" I asked.

He nodded this time, "Yes. Damage."

I rolled my eyes, "Fuck, quit with the suspense and tell me what you're going to do! I want to know as much as the readers, dammit!"

His eyes widened slightly as I sighed, "I'm... I'm sorry, I didn't mean to break the fourth wall."

"Alright then." He responded ackwardly. "But my plan, sir, is that you will drop me off while he is distracted. When he least expects it, I will climb aboard his ship like a stowaway and then, follow him onto land and attack him when he is alone."

I nodded as I poured me some more wine, wow. This stuff is great.

"But like you've said, we can't exactly die, so what's your plan? Just beat him up and thus 'damaging' him?" I asked.

He nodded slightly, so I rolled my eyes and advised, "It has been so long. This time, I want him to feel the pain that I did. Cause him real pain, Osiris. Even if it's not physical, make it mental in that case. Hurt someone he cares about before his eyes." I stood up and walked a slow circle around him, he was awfully quiet.

"Osiris, you were a spy on his ship for a while, I even gave you a crew that you managed to 'lose', do you recall your little groups name? Everyone's name?" I asked.

"Richard, Evans, Alexander, Joseph, and Michael." I spoke their names. Osiris seemed to tense up.

"Who killed them, Osiris? You must have been there, and you must have seen them all die before you, eh?" He nodded ever so slightly as I continued, "Well then, I presume that whoever did this was and is on the ship with England, doing his unfathomable disdainful bidding."

Osiris nodded a bit more noticeably as I continued on, "Well whoever did this, they must be put down. So kill them and I'm sure you have caused England some pain." I slurred.
