Ruby woke up with a start just as the girl had walked into her room with a cup of tea.

" You're awake." She said cheerfully. Ruby gave her a puzzled look as she had binded her eyes with folded scarf. " I hope you like tea." She figured that she put it on after putting the tea next to her bed. " My name is...you know what? You can call me Veena." She said with a smile.

" I'm Ruby. Nice to meet you." Veena nodded as Ruby smiled. " Wait, where's Uncle Qrow?"

" You mean the huntsman with the red cape? He took a heavy hit but he's got a strong aura. Mostly knocked out actually, he should be awake soon. " She placed a hand on Ruby's shoulder to calm her down. " You need to rest. He'll be fine, I promise." Feeling her own fatigue take over, Ruby once again fell into slumber.

Veena left the room and was about to close the door. She paused as a woman in a white hood stood next to her, silently watching. She lifted her binds and studied the white figure. The figure glanced at Ruby with her silver eyes and Veena understood. She opened the door a little to let the woman through and with a sigh she closed the door.

" You show too much emphaty." A dark, tall figure said looming over her. Of all the butterflies, weird creatures and creepy things her semblance lets her see, this one she knows for sure isn't real or hidden to the naked eye. " You could get yourself killed if you're too trusting." She ignored it as she usually did, it's always there weather or not she covera her eyes. Sometimes it whispers to her, sometimes it felt physical and even touched her.

She sighed as she allowed her aemblance to flow freely. She has some control over it but it can be straining. She decided to use some of her aura this time to see how far her semblance can reach. She felt something, a feeling within her. An emptiness, that would be the man called Qrow, a strong feeling of care and love, definitely Ruby.

" What are you doing?" Veena asked the figure in the mirror to her right. He was a faunus with curved horns like a ram. He smiled at her and looked at the window. She followed his gaze and headed to the window.

With her eyes she could see a few souls who were lost. Then there was music, she turned to its source which happened to be the man in the mirror. He was playing a flute, looking quite skeptical as he did so. Looking as if he interpretating something. He played four songs, each as if telling a story. The image in the mirror changed to herself playing the flute and its final song. She could barely comprehend as she found herself in the same position as the image in the mirror, a flute had even appeared in her hands. The mirror was now behaving as a mirror should, back to normal. But there's still a ghost flute in her hands.

" What the heck?" She jumped and dropped the ghostly flute. At this moment, the people she saw before were heading towards them.

There were already signs that someone was around when she was out on her walks. At that point she felt a bit of panic, she already had two people in the building. One of them even had something else following them. She calculated the possibility of whom these people might be, hikers (who would be hiking all the way out here?), huntsmen( they look like it but what would they be doing here?), or possibly...bounty hunters..but if they were, who would they be looking for? She thought about her two guests, they could be hunted. They're good people she can tell, she wouldn't want people dying in the place. She took a deep breath and decided to prepare herself.

" They'll owe you big time for this..." The dark figure told her. " You're going to need me. You're no good if you're blind, Veena...Stop ignoring me!" Veena picked up her guests' weapons and climbed up the stairs. If the huntsman's awake, he could help her and Ruby too. " Stop running and just fight them! You're capable of killing them even."

" Will you just SHUT UP?!" She shouted and her voice echoed through the house. She felt too old to be listening to this sort of nonsense. Funny, she's been feeling old quite an awful lot lately. She brushed it off, her aura has always felt old anyway.

" Hey, you there." She froze, she was almost up the stairs but they were already here. She pulled down her binds over her eyes. She turned to face them.

" Get out." She said simply before ascending up the stairs. " I found this place first, get out. Now."
