It was quiet, she doesn't usually get the chance to enjoy this kind peace. Never thought of it either, it was nice to take a breath for a change. She saw him come in, half drunk from the way he flew in. She sat there quietly, her wine red eyes staring into his. She hadn't spoken to him in a long while, he wasn't Ozpin's crow anymore, no. He had a flock now, so did she.

" Hello, brother." She regarded him as he only glared. " Still sour about Haven I see."

" Still running from your daughter I see." He returned the remark. She crossed her arms as he took another swig from his flask. " So, Raven. Not telling me something? "

" Only if you don't tell me what I want to know. She has the sword, doesn't she?" Raven kept her hand on her sword as Qrow smirked.

" What does it matter to you? You're not with Salem or Ozpin, neither the Sparrow." Raven gave him a look, they've had this conversation. " Fine. She does, why do you care?"

" I should be asking you, you're the one who came here." Qrow shrugged and leaned against a tree.

" Just checking if you're holding up your end of the deal. No, she didn't send me. She doesn't ask much from me anyway." He took another sip. " I don't have a reason to hide from my own sister."

" I'd know," He nodded and knowing that she was doing her part he started to leave. " Wait," Qrow gave her a reluctant look. " Tell that girl, If it keeps my tribe safe then..." Raven sighed and he knew something was up. " I'll join her." He widened his eyes and stared for a moment, confirming what he just heard. His eyes shifted and he nodded. He felt strange, he was glad to be on the same page as her but he felt unsure. It would be weird working with her again. The world of Remnant should be prepared, the Branwen twins are coming.

As he flew, he took a moment from his time to visit his nieces. The girls were going out together, Yang's treat. He smiled to himself as he watched them and their lovely smiles too. He spotted Jaune walking in to check on them with Oscar. He almost felt like going down there and greeting them. Then he remembered why he doesn't. He was about to move until he noticed a pair of silver eyes staring into his beady black eyes. She stood there and gave him a sad smile, it pulled his heart strings. She missed him, he knew that. But he can't see her now, not yet.

He flew off to one of the inns near Vale, it wasn't grand. In fact it was pretty humble, a mark was carved beneath the door knob. This was where he'll meet her. Walking in, he was greeted by the son of Haven's new headmaster, Zack Oxton. He had blue eyes and slick black hair that fades to gold at its tips. Though the kid is terribly annoying sometimes and pretty cocky, he was alright. He reminded Qrow of his younger self. But one thing bothers him about this kid, well not entirely.

" This way, Qrow." His voice, he sounds like Ozpin. He's not mad anymore but hearing this cocky kid sounding like his old boss makes him wanna sock the kid in the face. He led Qrow to a room where they would discuss her next orders. " She's already inside with some of the others except my dad, couldn't make it." Funny thing is he talks like Qrow. Sure enough the group waiting for him was two women, a teenager and two men he didn't know of.

" Good to see you again, Qrow." Veena said with her gentle smile. He returned the smile. " I'd like you to meet some of my associates, Pendleton and well, you've met my brother." They shook hands, Pendleton or Pen for short was quiet. Turns out he's mute. " Now, what have you gathered?" She began turning to him and the others. There were several sparrows hanging in the trees outside, they were a peaceful bunch to say the least.

" Everything's going smoothly like you planned. A few more promising people, they've heard of you, they want in. Miss Malachite said that Cinder came to her about a month after the attack on Haven, someone called Neo asked about her a couple days after. Said they had a scuffle but they took it outside. Don't know what happened from there." She looked over at Zack and Zea.

" The students are following on the program well, showing a lot of improvement." Zea simplified.

" Still a few holes in the system. Not much my dad can do at the moment but we're trying. The other guys are feeling a bit insecure though, all the teachers we used to know are..." He took a breath and let it out. " It's going to need getting used to."

" And our new network and web?" She asked.

" Just give us a bit more and we'll have ourselves one heck of a firewall. A little bit more dust," The red haired woman glanced at Aswad. " And we'll have a system that'll troll hackers."

" Quite a lot of progress." They all nodded in agreement. Veena took a moment to think. " Are too fast? I hope not. I don't want any of you rushing, that's not just an order. I, I've met some of the pupils or decendants of my past lives' protégés....they're eager to help me...a little too eager..." She mumbled mostly for herself rather than for the rest of them.

" Like that shit Tyrian for Salem?" Qrow suggested.

" A little, not so much. But it is...concerning." She let out a sigh and signalled that the meeting was over. " Qrow," He paused before he could step out with the others. " How are they?" He looked at her in the eye with a disbelieving look, had she been spying on him, he hoped not. " Summer says you visit them." Of course, she let her semblance flow and Summer stood there next to her with a teasing smile.

" Right, they're fine. Doing as well as I hoped. Maria has been visiting her pretty often, telling her a lot about her eyes." Qrow could only assume that was a sigh of relief, she was worried about them. " Catch you later, Midnight Sparrow. Red and White, Blake and Yellow, sheilded by an olive tree," He pointed to himself as he smiled and walked out the door. " Guarded by a crow."
