Cinder didn't expect it one bit, could anyone have expected for a dull bird to attack them? Cinder certainly didn't. A nightingale had flown past her and grazed her cheek, a small gash on her right. The dull bird hovered in front of Alex, singing a few notes before sitting on his shoulder. She lifted her wings, tweeting in rage.

" That actually stung. Neo, we have no more buisness here. And there's no use of this place anymore now, is there?" She held up her hand and a flame grew. Her eyes glowed and she fired. " What are you doing?" Neo twirled her umbrella, it was slightly burnt from the blast. She widened her stance and stood her ground, she breathed in deep and let it out. She stood tall, defending their ground. " They're just a bunch of unwanted children, Neo. With their caretaker gone, who's going to care anyway? If you wanna kill Ruby then let's go and hurry to Vacuo." But she didn't move. Cinder growled and her eye glowed. She summoned a sword but Neo was ready to fight. She cried out as talons dug through her arm, causing her to drop her weapon.

" You shouldn't have done that." Heather said standing before Neo in her ghostly figure. A hawk perched onto the window sill and tapped his steel talons against the wood. The tapping got louder and increased in numbers as flocks of sparrows rested all over the building. Their beady black eyes looking directly at Cinder, their very presence made her feel like she was surrounded. " This house is under the protection of the Midnight Sparrow. It is your best interest to leave, before we make sure you are no longer the fall maiden." Heather disappeared and the nightingale flew onto Neo's shoulder. Cinder took a few steps back as the dull bird lifted one wing. The other birds leaned in, giving off a very eerie feel. The nightingale signalled their attack as the birds swooped down. Swarming the fall maiden, causing her to flee as there were too many forces against her.

" Hey, Veena. We're back, you wanna join us to meet Beacon's teams or- Oh my gosh." She stood there, violet eyes focused on the mess on the ground. It wasn't too much, a few papers and stationary here and there, some feathers and stuffing, and a drop or two of blood. " H-Hey, V?" She ran her hands through her hair and turned to her teammate.

" I..I'm sorry, I just...I need some coffee..." She said as she moved towards her bed to change. Liam just came and Rizzie gave him a look and shook her head.

" Yeah, sure thing sparrow....Get the sedatives..." She whispered to Liam, he looked from his two teammates and sighed, shaking his head. He walked into the room and approached their leader gently.

" Hey, something wrong, leader?" Veena gave him a tired look and paused. She shrugged. " You sure?"

" I don't know what happened. I just...got angry." She took a deep breath ran her hand through her hair again. " Let me get dressed and I'll-"

" Nope!" Owen marched into the room. She forced her leader to sit down on her bed, put a blanket around her and handed her a warm mug of caramel tea. " You sit here and rest. I'll clean this up for you. And this is NOT an advice, it's an order. You may be our leader but we're still you're teammates. The other day you wouldn't sleep for a week, now you throw a tantrum out of nowhere." She shoved a pair of headphones onto her head. " Stop thinking and rest. You're stressing over too much, you may be old on the inside but you're still young aren't you?"

" Yeah, I'll help you with that Owen. Sparrow, don't move a muscle." Liam told her as he started to pick up papers.

" I have no say in this, do I?"

" Nope." Rizzie said as she handed her a cookie. " Now shut up and rest. We can't compete without a leader."

Blackbird sat quietly by the stream. There were a lot of insects and small animals here. She listened to the sounds of nature, how the water flowed down the stream, the little chirps from insects and birds and of course, the grimm walking slowly behind her. A young beowolf to be exact, it edged closer to the child and when the child turned and met it's eyes, both stayed still. It's violet pupils stared at her dark eyes, it gave a little yelp to greet her.

" Hi, Krissi!" She said cheerfully. The Sparrow had tamed it to look after her, and to teach both the importance of bonding. She petted the beowolf with a big smile. The only way to tell apart a 'tamed' grimm from another is their pupils. Violet meant that it was one of the Sparrow's. But Krissi was special to the Blackbird, it had a little red ribbon tied at the end of it's tail. And it was hers.
