Their eyes met again. Her mismatched eyes met his green ones. She decided to move, there was no point if she wasn't wanted there. Why would she even care? She doesn't know them and they've only met twice. But still, something about them just felt familiar and somewhat comforting. But then again, going there again would only trouble him. He caught her hand and she turned.

' About Alex-' He began.

' No need to explain, he clearly doesn't like me.'

' Well, actually, he's always like that with new people. You see, after the original owner died, there was this...man. He forced some of the older kids into doing diry jobs, stealing and selling drugs and illegal dust all over the place. Some resorted to running away but not many made it out alive. Alex had an older sister during that time, he was very young and she didn't make it.' Neo glanced to her side and nodded in understanding. Once you lose something to the cold, cruel world, you tend to be distrustful to anyone else. ' I hope you don't mind, but he asked me to give you this.' He handed her the folded note.

' Dear Miss Neo, sorry for being an ass. But I don't trust you. Miki made me write this to apologise.
- Alex.'

Neo shrugged it off and accepted the apology. Pen decided to keep talking to her, to ease her thoughts as she seemed stressed. In return, she admitively needed a distraction from trying to find a way into Vacuo. Cinder's been on her case for days and she is getting tired of it. As she struggles to get some way into the school, dear ol' Cinder is practicing target shots and surprisingly, looking for a hacker to get them through the system. At least she's not doing anything useless and behaving like some goddess. Pen was a good distraction, he was nice. They understood each other, but sometimes they wished at least one of them could speak. It would be nice talking to someone normally, a longing they both share.

" So basically, you're telling me that you two and the previous principals were part of some secret organisation to protect relics hidden in chambers beneath the school?" Before they could answer, Zea added a statement. " Oh, I already know that. About the maidens too. Tell Ozpin I said hello, now if you'll excuse me. The sparrow needs to see her hummingbird."

" Wait-What?" Ironwood wanted to say something but she only smiled and he was sure this time that he's definitely met her somewhere.

" Red and White, Black and Yellow. Shielded by an olive tree, Guarded by a crow." She winked at them both and turned off the com. " How interesting was that, Sparrow?" She asked the violet eyed girl sitting before her with a smile.

" I suppose since our crow returned to his family, they're sure to have more questions." She nodded in understanding and they both took a sip of their tea. " Did you see the looks on their faces?"

" Oh, yes! That was absolutely priceless. I still can't believe Ironwood still doesn't remember me. Is it that hard to remember a walking, talking ghost?" They laughed at the thought and kept on it. " And the way they reacted to my response, I almost dropped my facade. Being mysterious can be so difficult. How come you can pull it off so easily?"

" I'm old. " Zea snorted at her reply. " What? I've lived numerous lives, one of them was bound to make a great actress."

" No, you're not. Not even since Aris." Verna stuck out her tounge, she felt so...normal talking to Zea like this. It was quite comforting. " I have to admit, this is fun."

" You see, the best part about being older is that you can see all the foolish and clueless looks on their faces and laugh because you've seen it all. It's a one of the highlights of my reincarnation. But getting each and every memory by 'key' can be a pain. They're either literal or poetic, gives myself a headache. Remind me to write them down before I have to reincarnate again." Zea chuckled softly and smiled. But then she realised the true meaning behind those words. Her fox ears flattened and she gave the old soul a concerned look. " What?" She got up and leaned closer to see her face properly. " What?" The hummingbird inspected her eyes and face and gave a disappointed look.

" You haven't been sleeping again, have you?" Veena rolled her eyes and shrugged. " Veena, you look terrible."

" You say that now, I'm fine." Zea put a hand over the mouth of her cup and put her tea cup down. " Zea,"

" That's enough tea for today, as headmistress I order you to go to your room and get some rest." Veena gave a long sigh and got up to leave. " And you're banned from coffee!"

" You can't stop me!" She yelled across the room as she shut the door. " 'Cause not even I can help myself...not when what I have to do, could end up killing someone." She said to herself as she walked down the empty hall.
