" Once upon a time, there was an old warrior named Veena. In her youth she had trained many warriors and have been through many adventures herself. But as she grew older, she became aware as death were upon her. She prayed to both gods everyday until her time came. Soon after, humanity was destroyed for defying the gods. Then, Osma was chosen to guide humanity by the god of light. But, the god of darkness thought it not fair if his brother sent a champion. So to even things out, he chose Veena to guide them. But unlike Osma, Veena was granted a companion by the god of darkness. With the condition that Veena will reincarnate as only one soul and live life like a reset. With every life, she gains more experience with seperate memories. With each set of memories, she can choose wether or not to keep them with 'keys' to unlock these memories and adapt it to her current ones. The End." She finished, looking just as confused as they are.

" Wow." Was all Weiss could say. " That is a lot."

" I know. But I don't entirely mind actually...Apparently I am also cursed with time gaps that leaves me to reincarnate after a half a century or so and to be honest, I still feel like a teenager but at the same time I feel pretty old."

" I can relate." Oscar said, Veena smiled at him thoughtfully. The poor boy must be taking in a lot. " Speaking of old, Ozpin has been awfully quiet...too quiet."

" Ugh, I don't want to hear about him." Yang rose to leave until Veena stood with her arms crossed. " What?"

" I'm quite old myself, haven't been much help either. Are you not mad at me as well?"

" At least you're not keeping secrets." Blake answered. " Unlike someone." Oscar shrugged uncomfortably, even though the words are directed to Ozpin he felt a slightly directed as well, being in the same body is quite the burden.

" My goodness," Veena let out a small chuckle over their reaction. " To tell you the truth, I don't feel that I'm better. My own memories keep secrets from me and even my own story eludes me. I get what your going through Oscar, I kind of get all you actually." She looked down for a moment and glanced at her side, then at the mirror by the stairwell. " You know, I feel that a part of me just feels...dark. I'm not sure what it is but that's what it feels like. Dark." A bit of silence followed as she seem to be staring off at an empty space next to Ruby.

" Veena, can I ask you something?" The red hooded girl asked looking slightly uncomfortable. Despite her behaviour, Veena nodded with a smile and ushered her to ask. " I- Do you...What do you see, actually? I mean, you say you see the truth or everything?" Veena took a moment to collect her thoughts.

" I don't predict the future. That's one thing, but about the things I see." She sighed as she uses her aura to surpress her own abilities. " Well, sometimes I'm not sure what I'm seeing. Beeing alone for so long, can do things to your head..." They gave her concered looks. " I already told you I was crazy. No need for a sentiment, or your sympathy. I've heard enough of that in this lifetime alone- Why do I keep saying things like that, I barely remember my past lives." She took a breath and Qrow saw the strain in her eyes.

" Hey, if you can't hold it back then don't. You're just gonna hurt yourself, kid. Trust me." Qrow took a swig from his flask as he prepared himself for the sights he might see.

" I'm not just holding it back for my sake." She said with a small amused laugh. " Alright, but if I let go, you all have to stay calm." She glanced at Qrow, Ruby and Yang, signifying that this directed at them. " Among the things I see, are parts of the souls that stayed in this world. Spirits, basically and...Aura." With that she let her semblance flow freely. They awed once more over the colourful little spirits in the room. Qrow froze the moment he saw her, Yang was shaking as she stared at the figure behind her sister. Ruby was confused as the whole room seem to stare at her. She realised quickly that it wasn't her that they were looking at. She turned and stayed there, staring.

" Mom...?" Ruby stood from her seat and slowly took a few steps back. Ruby's eyes turned away as tears started to form. Summer tried to find the words to speak but nothing came.

" Summer..."  She looked his way,Qrow was on the verge of tears. Ruby darted from the room.

" Ruby- Wait!" Yang was completely silent as that long forgotten voice spoke and went after the young girl. The room was left disoriented and silent with red and white rose petals scattered across the floor.
