BTS' Burn The Stage: The Movie releases in my country today but I am not going for it. I'm sad that I'm missing such a great opportunity but it's alright. The reason why I didn't buy the tickets was that I have accepted the fact that KPop is infact distracting me from my life more than it should. Even though this is a very rare opportunity, I am trying my level best not to get dragged in more than I already am. It's not exactly working for me so far but buying something in the name of KPop might not help my case.

Having said that, woah! They're actually premiering a BTS movie in Indian theatres! And not just in the popular cities but in around 45 different cities! That is so cool! Burn The Stage was supposed to release on the 15th but due to some obstacles, the release date was pushed. Initially they were going to be only a handful of shows but because of immense request drives from Indian ARMY, the movie has been given so many slots is so many cities. I still say that the majority of India is not ready for them. It will be a very slow but effective process.

I had a fun day out with Alex today. His exams got over yesterday and since parents went out for an engagement ceremony, Alex and I decided to have a siblings day out.

After getting acquainted with the Korean culture, I tried looking for places that serve Korean food here in my city and I found one. Ofcourse I knew that it won't be the authentic Korean food, I wanted to try it out. Alex is also very interested in Asian food (or just food in general), so we decided to go there for lunch.

We reached the place and for some reason I was really apprehensive of what to order because frankly, for some reason I didn't think I'd like Korean food. Maybe it's just because it's something I'm not used to. Or maybe because they have more options in other meat instead of in chicken. I ended up eating Thai tho. I ordered a Basil chicken bowl for myself while Alex went for bulgogi which I know for a fact is a Korean dish. Alex has no qualms in eating red meat. We also ordered chicken momos for ourselves.

The ambience of the restaurant was not that bad. It was a pretty small place but it was good for a 2-3 people lunch/dinner scene. I have been to more compact restaurants before. We did have a bit of difficulty in communicating with the waiter. I have no idea whether he was an Indian or from some other country but his English was a bit messed up and we only understood the gist of what he said when we asked him to repeat it thrice.

Coming to the food.... it was good dude! I didn't expect it. Both of us got two bowls, one with the gravy/curry and the other with plain steamed rice. I didn't realise that I ordered for minced chicken (not of fan of that cut) but it the gravy/sauce tasted damn good. Alex loved what he had too. I have to admit that it did taste nice but I don't think I can have more than a bite or two of his dish.

I think I'll go that restaurant again some day and I'll order a Khauswey when I do so. I posted a picture tagging the place on my Insta story and Kristen's sister recommended me to try it next time. Now that I think about it, someone on the other table had ordered one and it did look nice.

After lunch we decided to walk to the seaside. Initially we were to walk without looking at the map but since we had already walked to the place from the same route once, we quickly figured out the way. What a bummer. We saw some art installations there which were part of an ongoing fest. Some were good, some not so much. While walking along the seaside we also attracted the attention of a dog who followed us for quite some time.

After that we decided to head back home but before that we visited a juice store and had ta immunity boosting juice. Maybe juices should be my choice instead of soft drinks but it's expensive so I don't know.

We decided to get ourselves a ride until we finish our juice but we ended up walking for quite a while. In the the we we decided to walk back home. We walked through a shady area in the beginning after which we took a detour and landed up at the main road. After walking for about 45 mins we realised that we're near our school. And then we decided to go through the school lanes for old times sake.

All the memories came flooding back in when we did so. More than distinct memories, I felt the feeling of being a school student coming back to me. I mean, I visited the place for 10 years of my life! My school doesn't look very different tho. The building colour is the same, the structure is the same, as far as I could see the interiors looked the same. But another school in our education complex has changed completely! I had last seen the building being taken down but I never saw the structure that came in it's place. Man, it looks damn good! I guess the reason why this building got a face-lift is because it's the international board school of our education complex.

After spending some time there, Alex and I were contemplating whether to continue walking back home or take a ride back. We ultimately settled on the latter. I was very tired by that time and we still had 45 minutes of walk back home. I had great time tho. I really great time!

At night, Alex and I watched Ant Man and the Wasp. I had downloaded it quite some time ago but Alex and I try to watch Marvel Movies together so I waited for him. See, I'm such a good sister.
