International Finance lecture was interesting today! For some reason I'm finding this semester's syllabus less intimidating than the last one. Of course that's probably because we haven't been tested yet.

Sponsorship Marketing today was meh. I liked that the professor showed us many videos but at quite a lot of points it felt like he was talking to himself. I think I'll have to force myself to find the lectures interesting.

After our lectures, Paul finally taught me how to play Monodeal. I've heard of people playing this game ever since the first year and even though I'm super late to the game and the hype around it has died down, I finally know what it is and how to play it! Oh also, if I haven't mentioned it before, Monodeal was a birthday gift to Paul from Kristen and I after the bag idea didn't work out. Of course there was heavy vested interest. ;)

Anyways, the game itself is quite interesting and a liiiiittle difficult to grasp in the beginning but I got it. We decided to play two rounds but in the middle of the second round, the fire alarm went off (as part of a fire drill) and we had to leave our game midway. Dammit!

On my way back in the train, I met one of my primary school teachers. She used to teach us Hindi and it's easily been more than 10 years since I last saw her. But the most amazing part is that she recognisedddddd meeeeeee! In fact she recognised me before I recognised her. I've probably mentioned this before but I was very invisible in school. Nothing about me ever stood out. Nor was I one of the toppers, nor failures, nor super active in sports or any other extra-curricular activity. I never expected teachers from school and that too from the primary section to remember who I was (apart from a couple who I went to for tuitions or the ones from my 9th and 10th grade but that's also a stretch) so this was a very pleasant surprise. It felt very nice.

Today Aunt P, Stella and Spencer have come to live with us. The little one was asleep when I reached home but once he was wide awake, goodness did he create a mess. He took out all the toys that we had (we've now kept it only for when he comes home) and I'm pretty sure he is going to break something or the other before leaving this household.

They went for a walk but I couldn't join them because I had to work on our recent project. So that's what I did for most part of the remainder of the day. But of course I spent quite a lot of time with our guests as well.
