YES! Finally, there is a new chapter. SO sorry it took so long. There is another chapter already finished, but incase you didn't know, I now reserve finale chapters until the next one, and THEN I release the chapter.

To sum up, make a chapter and hold it back, then make a new chapter and then release previous. So, there's already a new chapter waiting to be published, but I withhold it untill I complete the next one.

Sorry...

NOW ENJOY!

Chapter 57: Call of The Lost King

In your hour of need, sometimes even your worst enemy will turn out to be your closest ally. –Unknown

This is completely ridiculous! My parents won’t let me go! They refuse to let me go without their permission, and knowing what I have in mind, they would never let me go.

It has been four days since Alexander fell into a coma, and I only have three days left. What am I going to do?! Perhaps… perhaps I should just go and ask, it couldn’t hurt. Even if I don’t get their approval, I’ll find a way. I have to. I need to make this right. Alexander… he should never have had to suffer such horrible things.

I begin walking to my parent’s throne room, preparing myself a reason why they should let me help Alexander. I arrive at the double doors, and take a deep breath.

You can do this. They should know better than to turn me down, this is important! I can’t let anything stop me!

With that thought of courage, I open the doors, and kneel once I am at the seat of their thrones, earning me a strange look.

“Honey, why are you doing that? What is it you want? You never do that unless you’re desperate for something.”

I open my mouth to speak, until I feel the presence in the room.

I turn to face it, and I am immediately confronted by a blinding white light. What… who… who is that?! My thoughts race as the being’s presence literally scorches the surroundings.

“Come to the Land of the Fallen Kingdom, at the heart, where a mighty throne once stood, but now rests at the bottom of the ocean. Come to me. Come to the place where I reside, where I once held power. Come to me, Danica Crown, for my name… is Alexandi.”

As soon as the light appeared, it vanished with a sharp, WOOSH. My parents stare at me in shock.

“What…? What was that? What was he saying?” I frown.

“You mean you didn’t hear what he said?” I ask, slightly confused.

“No, we COULDN’T understand him. He was speaking Ancient Dragonic. Don’t tell me… you understood what he was saying?!” Mother exclaims, rising to her feet.

“Yeah, it made perfect sense to me; it actually sounded as though he was speaking the Common Tongue.” Mom looks at me, then at where Alexandi was at.

“What did he say?”

“He told me to go to the ‘Land of the Fallen Kingdom’, at ‘the heart where a mighty throne once stood.’ What was he talking about?” Mom ponders for a minute, before her eyes widen.

“No, it can’t be… there’s only one place he could be talking about, and that’s the old capital of the Chromatics, Alexandi Hall. But why would he want you to go there?”

“He sounded as if he wanted to meet me for something important.”

Mom frowns. “Ok then, but still…”
