I poured some punch into my cup, not bothering to pour Laila any. As I began to sip my punch, Ez came over to me.
"Hey Ez-" I was cut off by Ez hitting my cup so that punch got all over me. "What was that about?" I asked, very confused.
"For you breaking my heart, you jerk!" She yelled before pushing me back into the table with the punch bowl on it. I crashed into the table, punch covering even more of my tux. And to make it worse, the bowl landed on my head.
I stood up, threw the bowl off my head, and walked straight out of the great hall, without giving any word to anyone else. I heard August and Ashleigh yelling at me, but I didn't stop. I didn't know where I was going, but I wasn't going to stop walking until I got there. I could hear Augusts shoes hitting the ground fastly, so I started running as well. Lucky for me, I've ran my entire life, through escaping from bullies, to cross country. And I was pretty fast.
Don't stop. Don't ever stop. I thought.
