My days in nothingness went by as slow as molasses. Every now and them someone would walk around and see me, but I didn't talk to them and they didn't talk to me. The worst part was that I could hear everyone talking around me in the regular world. It was terrible. That was, after three weeks of pure torture, my demented life took a turn. I could feel my body be bombarded with pain, and my eyes flutter open. The first thing I saw was Ez's face staring down at me, her face streaked with tears. I could her the song, 'Check Yes Juliet', playing in the background. Her eyes were still closed, so I decided to tell her I was awake.
"Run baby run,
Don't ever look back
They'll tear us apart if you give them the chance
Don't sell your heart, don't say we're not meant to be
Run baby run, forever will be
You and me
You and me
You and me..." She opened her eyes and grinned wildly, kissing me on the lips passionately.
"I'm owed a date to Disneyland, you know." I said once she pulled away. She nodded vigorously, and we hugged tightly.
