<><><>

The princess stood at the top of the highest tower of her castle, facing away from the town.

She was heartbroken and suffering.

So as a way to end that suffering,

She would jump.

She figured it be the easiest way out of that.

She climbed onto the railing, expecting no one to come to her, or at least they wouldn't get there in time.

She left a letter behind, one thanking them all for making her happy, sad, angry, loved. She was glad to get to know them, even the one who broke her heart,

The wolf.

She didn't know that the wolf had read the letter, she didn't know the wolf was racing to her now, even if he didn't know his way around the castle.

He reached the tallest tower and saw the princess standing on the rail.

The princess turned to see who was there, and when she saw the wolf running to her, she tripped on her long dress, one her mother had worn on the day of her death, and fell.

She screamed, suddenly regretting her decision.

The wolf followed right after her, took her by the waist, and caught a nearby ledge.

He nearly slipped, but he hung on tight.

The princess cried into his chest, blaming herself for putting them both in danger.

"Fear not, Princess, it is those monsters, those demons in your head that tell you those things. They are wrong," the wolf said. "Do not believe what they say. Believe the complete opposite in fact."

The princess nodded and wrapped her arms around the wolf's neck.

He began climbing steadily, careful not to slip, and careful so the princess would not fall.

They had reached the top within minutes, the princess getting up first, the wolf followed after.

Once both were on ground, the princess hugged the wolf tightly.

"Thank you, wolf, so much. I..." she sniffed. "I will be weak for once, for my love is too strong to ignore. It died once you said those horrible things, but not completely. So, Wolf, if you say things like that to me again, I'm not sure I will be able to forgive you, but for now, please stay with me."

"I will make sure you never feel sad, and if you do, it will be together. We'll do everything together, for my love for you is also too strong. I love you, My Princess."

"I love you as well, no, even more, My Wolf."

So she kissed him, and that's when the small seed of Love rebirthed in their hearts, tying its vines around them for ever.
