CH 23 - Thinking

Park POV

"She found the files."

I smile and finish my drink; the jealous and unhappy little girl would be useful.

"Is this a good idea Young Master?" The butler asks. "It's never good to anger the  Panichjayasawad's."

"My father can handle any trouble."

He knows not to speak more, he nods and moves away. I want to see him, the boy who's special enough for him to take as a lover. I want to know why he would do, when I was no good.

Wayo was protecting him so diligently, always watched and he even had a guard dog outside his door in the hospital.

I needed to distract him a little, have him focus on something else and what could be more important than his hospital.

I look at the picture of the doctor again, I wonder Wayo, will you still want this human boy if he was no longer pretty?

Kit POV

I look at my phone when it buzzes; it's only a message from P'Korn asking if I'm okay for the 9th time, when did he get this bad? I check, but Ming hasn't read the messages I sent him last night, now I was the one being ignored, it served me right.

I spent most of last night thinking about Ming. Beam's voice taunting me, you want his full attention don't you Kitty. His voice was normally annoying but it was more so when he was right, which could happen once in a blue moon.

The last few weeks I spent more time with him then Pha and Beam, it never happened before. Even when I dated the few times, I was still out with them and the girls didn't mind. It never bothered me I didn't have their full attention, not once.

But with Ming, it bothered me. A few weeks wasn't long enough, but the way I was acting, what I felt, I came to the only conclusion I could. I think I like Ming. After thinking long and hard, I still had no idea what I was going to do about it. I sigh.

"Waiting for an important call?"

"Maybe."

"Aww, you're missing Pha and Beam aren't you?" She says sadly. "Many people in university were sure you were in a three-way relationship, so it was true?"

I choke on my tea but P'Ahn laughs seeing me. I look around the food court as I hear a few chuckles, it was always fun catching up with her but she did have a habit of dropping lines like that.

"We're cousins."

"The phrase, 'kissing cousins' exists for a reason." She chuckles when I shake my head. "It's so sad I won't see them tomorrow at the wedding, seeing the illegal doctor's gang was the highlight of university life."

"I still don't get how we got that name."

"The three of you were good at studying, sweet and eye candy for everyone, the perfect package." She tells me. "It should have been illegal for one to be that good, but all three!"

I don't know how to answer that one.

"So, will you take my sister in law as a patient?" I get back on topic.

"Sure, your mum already asked me." She smiles. "But... the reason I called..."

"You need something." I smile back. "I knew you wouldn't feed me lunch without wanting something in return."
