Phana POV
I stretch, yawning as we step out of the lift. We decided to spend the night at the house, I wanted a little more alone time with Yo. I knew it would get busy once we got back. I couldn't explain some of my own feelings lately, the voice was silent since our talk but my realising what it was seemed to have opened a door and small memories slipped through.
I hold his hand when I see him frown at something he's reading on his phone. I wanted to take his worries away, I wanted him to smile but this lingering feeling in the back of my mind wouldn't go away. That I still would make him unhappy. Let's not make Yo sad, okay? I ask, but the voice stays silent.
I hear the screech before I'm tackled and I think I'm being hugged? "P'Pha! I missed you!"
I look down at the grinning, sugar high teenager a moment before I realise who it is. "Nami...?"
"Yes!" She jumps happily. "I became beautiful since the last time you saw me, it took you a moment to recognise me right?"
My years of doctor training kicks in. "Really pretty and you look so grown up."
"P'Pha, you're so sweet." She giggles and twirls.
"Pha you bastard." Beam shouts walking out of the lift with Kit, Ming, and Forth. "Don't you ever check your phone?"
"Why the hell are you here?" I ask Beam. "Seeing your face this early isn't a good omen."
I move my leg before he can kick me, why were they all here this early?
"You could have warned me." I say quietly.
"We did!" Beam fumes. "Read your damn messages."
"You...you..."
Nami is looking at Yo with huge eyes, why was she staring at my Yo like that?
"OMG, you're so cute." She squeals and launches herself at Yo.
Wait...no, she's can't hug my Yo, I move her away.
Ming and Forth stand in front of Yo protecting him; I assume they already met Nami.
"Yo, this is Nami." I tell him smiling apologetically. "My cousin."
She stands straight and formally introduces herself and smiles happily as Yo does the same. I stop her before she can get to close.
"Phana, control your weird family." Ming looks annoyed. "I knew that girl was trouble."
"But he's so cute, I want to hug him again." Nami points to Yo.
"No one and I mean no one, is allowed to hug my Yo but me."
Silence. Shit! Did I just come out to my cousin? I didn't even get a chance to tell my father yet.
"Nami, let me explain..." Kit's thinking fast.
"You're Wayo?" She jumps and claps. "You're the one he eloped with?"
"Wait..." I'm confused.
"What?" Kit's confused too?
"How did she know?" Beam actually finishes a sentence.
"I read your messages." Nami tells him.
"What?...How?" Beams shocked.
"I hacked your phone when I hugged you last night." She smiles.
Beams mouth hangs open. "That's an invasion of privacy..."
"You read my diary." She tells him. "Cousins shouldn't have secrets, you said."
