CH 53 - Rescue

Forth POV

"Is something going on with the cousins?" Lee asks when I answer. "Do I need to arrange more security?"

"No, why?" I ask confused, heading for my bike.

"Beam's asked for time off." He tells me. "Family emergency."

"When did he call to arrange that?"

"He didn't." Lee answers. "His father made the request."

"Let me check." I hang up and call Ming.

"This better be important Forth." Ming sounds out of breath.

"Did Kit tell you...?" I can hear Kit in the background. "Why is he there? Why isn't he with Beam?"

"Tell me what?"

"Beam's father made a request for leave, something about an emergency..."

Why would Beam go alone? I didn't know much about his parents, Beam hardly mentioned them but from what I knew about the cousins they always knew everything about the others.

"Forth? I don't hear anything and if something was going on my mother would be the one to call us." It's Kit. "Beam wouldn't go anywhere without telling me and Pha, especially not with his father after what he pulled last time."

I curse hanging up the phone and call Lee.

"Where is he?" I snap, someone should be watching him.

"His apartment, packing I assume." Lee answers. "He hasn't left."

I call Beam, his phone going to answering machine, that didn't happen. I start my bike and head for his apartment; I had a bad feeling about this. The chocolate would have to wait.

I see his car, heading for the stairs when the scent hits me. Beams blood. I mist, going from room to room but he isn't in his apartment and nothings been touched. He didn't even come inside.

"He didn't make it to his apartment." My voice low calling Lee. "Find him, or I ash everyone in security."

Beam POV

I was getting dizzy and I feel sick, maybe I should stop banging my head. I lye back on the bed and look at my phone again, still no signal. Hungry, kidnapped and in love with a vampire that was around when dinosaurs roamed the earth...when the hell did I become the heroine in a terrible fanfiction? [A/N: I'm putting Beam in a dress >.<]

Screw that! I was definitely the hero! Now I needed to plan a cunning escape and get out. Okay, I lure the guard, knock him out, make a stealthy getaway and find some old granny to charm so they will give me a lift back to the hospital.

"P'Beam, I brought you something special to eat." The weirdo smiles walking in with a tray.

I don't care she's a girl, I'm going to hit her with a chair and escape.

Forth POV

"Any vehicle leaving the parking garage after Beam entered is being traced." Lee tells. "He hasn't been gone long; we will find him."

"Where is the team I assigned to him?" I ask Lee.

"I had them moved to security." Lee stops me before I can protest. "He was safe inside the hospital, there were two vampires for escort, to keep him safe..."
