Unhinged Saviours

"What is going on...Pring...what is wrong with you?"

She ignored him, opening drawers and packing as quickly as she could. This was it, finally, it was going to happen. she had been worried when Park didn't contact her but now It was all settled.

"I told you I don't need to find a job anywhere."

"Pring...listen to me..." Her father tried again; he was sure the girl was becoming unhinged.

He tried to reason with her, talk to her but she was disappearing and talking to strangers in the middle of the night. He knew losing her job would affect her but nothing on this level.

"Father stop interfering." She snapped. "I have a plan; I know what I'm doing."

"Then why are you packing?"

"I need to leave for a few weeks, I'll tell you when I get back." She smiles happily. "I'll be married and return as Mrs. Phana Kongtanin, trust me everything is okay."

Phana POV

I put on my jacket as I leave the bedroom, stopping when I hear Yo humming as he moves around making breakfast. He always hummed when he was happy, especially when he watched his mother make his favourite meals. He tried to make me breakfast once, I don't know what he did but the staff would never let him into the kitchen again, standing guard when he walked past.

I understand now why he was sad looking at the picture wall, how many things I have missed with him? I have one lifetime he wasn't apart of but I missed so, so many. Why didn't I come back sooner? He stops when I hug him, turning in my arms to smile at me.

"When did you learn to cook Yo?"

"Some time ago." He tells me putting fruit in my mouth. "Ming wanted to start a restaurant in Paris, he talked me into taking learning with him."

Oh, so he went with Ming. I watch as he takes out his phone, arranging a meeting and authorising finances for a deal.

You never liked being in my office for long, he could never sit still as he waited for me to finish and now, he spent all day doing the same.

"You always said sitting behind a desk wasn't for you." I hug him tighter. "You should have done things that made you happy Yo."

"You made me happy." He caresses my cheek. "As I waited for you, I started helping my father and brother, then Forth."

So many new people in his life, I was glad he had them but I couldn't help being a little jealous. They knew things about my Yo that I didn't.

"I'm sorry I took so long Yo."

"Thank you for coming home to me."

I kiss him. I told you Yo, no matter what I would find my way back to you. Even when I had forgotten I still dreamed of you. I would find a way to make up for it, the time I left you alone and I had an idea where to start.

I watch Kit smile, softly shaking his head, he likes my idea that means he'll help me. I remembered roughly but I needed to get the page I removed from the original plans to make perfect calculations; I was surprised Yo still didn't know about it.

It was a big project and how would I manage it without Yo knowing so I could surprise him? Even with Beams help the three of us couldn't do it that quickly.
