Nami POV

I watch amazed, reading countless texts about the abilities of the older vampires doesn't prepare you to see the real thing, to see a vampire mist and become shadow...P'Yo was so cool. Whoever took P'Pha was toast, literally. I had to see it!

Ming curses and turns to mist, following...how old was that guy he could to that? I bet P'Yo turned him, no wonder he had the ability.

"Ming...don't...leave..."

P'Kit whispers, I know it is the lingering effect from P'Yo but it hurts to hear P'Kit call his name in a broken voice. Stupid Ming Kwan...I bet seeing him so close to P'Yo wasn't helping either. Stay on topic, kidnapped cousin! I send an emergency text and head for P'Kit, don't worry, I will comfort you...

"Kit..." Ming's back, he heard his name called. "Hold on tight."

He picks up P'Kit and mists too, its freaking cool, but P'Yo was more awesome. I run for the stairs, the lift will take too long.

"They went after him." I tell my brother seeing him get out of the car. "Let's go..."

"You're never going to believe this guys." P'Korn laughs walking to us carrying bags of deserts...the worst time to visit, ever. "I could have sworn I saw Ming run past carrying Kit."

P'Sing and I share a look, how the hell did he manage to see that? The Kongtanin weren't the only strange ones, the sisters definitely had something in their blood. I would find out one day.

"Follow the map." I hook my phone to the handsfree base.

"You had a tracker on Pha's phone?" P'Sing asks starting the car.

"I really did see Ming run past me carrying Kit?"

We both look back, P'Korn jumped into the back seat.

"You're still drunk dude...hangover...." P'Sing ties to reason.

"Oh no, that would have worked if you laughed and said it when I asked but now, I know I saw it." He fastens his seatbelt.

"Korn this is not the time." P'Sing snaps. "Get out of the car."

"You were nicer when you were dating New." P'Korn snaps back. "Don't yell at me cause you're not getting any."

And they had the audacity to question my actions when all the people around me were like this, I sigh. I wish the vampires would stop causing trouble I had another mystery to solve, who was New? I did hear the name before but...Kidnapped cousin, damn it!

"We don't have time, follow the map."

"Who did you hack?" P'Sing asks driving.

"P'Beam." I answer. "No matter where they are P'Forth will go and P'Beam will be with him."

"We don't even know if Forth will take him..."

"He will." I tell them. "P'Beam took handcuffs in case P'Forth tried to leave him behind."

"That's Beam for you." P'Korn sighs. "I came to spy on Pha and see his girlfriend, what's going on?"

"P'Pha was kidnapped by some psycho and we are going to rescue him." I answer checking my phone.

"It's always more exciting with you guys, I knew I should have come to visit sooner."

"You think a newling can fight me?" He glares. "Why does he want you? Why you?"

I try to push back but he's stronger, pushing me down, I see his fangs descend as he moves closer. My head is on fire but I know what he's going to do.
