Days turned into weeks and weeks turned into months, and before Rose knew is, the weather started to get colder, and she and Harry started to spend more time together than with anyone else.

Harry and Rose walked towards Hagrid's hut. Hagrid was still not back yet, but they wish he was. As they stared at the hut, something flew in the corner of their eyes. Both turned and saw the horse like creatures that pull the carriages.

They followed the path towards where they saw more. Rose could make out a white-haired girl feeding the creatures. It was Luna Lovegood.

"Hello, Harry, Rose," Luna smiled at them. "Hello, Luna," Rose and Harry greeted Luna together as they came to a stop next to her.

"Luna, if you don't mind me asking. WHere are your shoes?" Rose asked staring down at Luna's bare feet. It was cold out, so Rose didn't know how Luna could stand outside without shoes.

"I always seem to lose them. I suspect that the nargles are hiding them," Luna said still smiling as she threw an apple at one of the creatures, but it didn't eat it, so Luna threw a piece of raw meat.

Harry looked towards Rose and mouthed 'Nargles?' but Rose herself didn't know what Nargles were. "What are they?" Harry asked looking at the horse-like creatures. "They're Thestrals," Luna answered Harry.

"Why can nobody else see them?" Rose asked looking towards Luna. "Only those who have witnessed someone dying can see them," Luna said looking towards Rose and Harry. "Who did you see?" Harry asked Luna.

"My mum. She was an extraordinary witch, she liked to do experiments and one day one of her spells went wrong. I was nine," Luna said as they began to walk around.

"You know, my father and I believe the both of you," Luna said looking at them. "What about?" Harry asked. "That You-Know-Who returned and that there is a war on its way," Luna said as they came to a stop.

"These days nobody believes us," Rose said to Luna. "There are those who do believe you. You know, if I was You-Know-Who I would want to make you feel alone or left out because those are always the easiest to target," Luna said

Rose and Harry looked at one another before they said goodbye to Rose and made their way back to the castle. They walked into the Great Hall and saw Ron and Hermione sitting opposite one another.

"Can we join you?" Harry asked and Hermione and Ron nodded. Just as the two were about to sit down, they heard two voices shouting at one another. They walked into the entrance hall and saw McGonagall and Umbridge. The two were arguing.

Days later Umbridge was turned into the Hogwarts high inquisitor, meaning she gets to make decisions. Not even two days later she was in the potions classroom, asking Snape a lot of questions. Same happened in all their other subjects.

McGonagall didn't enjoy it when Umbridge tried to interrupt her when she was teaching so McGonagall told her off. Rose let a giggle slip when that happened and McGonagall just sent her a small smile.
