Even though Phoenix is only twenty two minutes away from Scottsdale... it wasn't that far. But I'm happy we didn't move too far away from my family. Bria came up here to see the new house. "Delano always goes all out for you with these nice ass houses" she said.
"He wants to impress me" I said.
"Did it work?" She asked. I smiled and shook my head "not really. A home is a home".
"So whatever happened to the person who robbed your place... did the cops ever find the person who did it?" Bria asked.
"Nope! Didn't expect them to" I said.
"That sucks. How long after that happened you moved here?" She asked.
"What? Like two weeks" I said.
"I know this is a far stretch... but you don't think Delano would have something to do with the break in?" She asked.
"Delano? Really? I mean he can be an asshole but not to the point of breaking into my place and trashing it" I said.
"Are you sure? You say you know Delano like the back of your hand. But do you really know the man?" She asked.
"Bria where are you going with this?" I asked.
"I'm just saying how convenient it was for him to move you in right after that happened. He's been bugging you for months to move in with him. Maybe in his weird mind you were moving too slow for him. So he got a way for you to move a little faster".
"That's ridiculous! Delano would never do that. He's not that stupid" I said.
"Okay... you know your boo better than me. But I wouldn't put anything past him. Remember who his mother is. He stems from that" she said. Bria was giving me a headache. One minute she's for Delano and I... and the next she's coming up with some crazy thoughts. "Trust me Delano wasn't the one who broke into my place".
"Whatever you say" she said. Delano isn't that stupid to do something that extreme. And to take time to rip up pictures and throw things throughout the house. Nah, it doesn't sound like something he would do. "Aww look at Salem she is all smiles".

"She's such a chunky butt" I said. Delano came in and went straight for Salem "where's my favorite baby girl?!".
"Let me find out Salem heard her dad coming this whole time and that's why she was smiling out of nowhere" Bria said. Delano picked her up "that's right cause she's a daddy's girl".
"So Delano how does it feel to have Gia and the kids living with you once again?" Bria asked.
He smiled "I'm happy. It's all I wanted was to have my family with me". Bria nodded "in a way you can thank the person or persons who broke into Gia's apartment. Without that Gia wouldn't even be here" she joked.
"I mean I don't want to thank a scary situation but you have a point" he said. Bria mouthed "he's smart". Delano took Salem and went outside to see the plants growing in the front of the house.
"Delano is too smart for his own good. He cautiously answered my question" Bria said.
"What did you want him to come out and confess?" I asked.
"That would be nice to be proven right" she said. Watching Delano outside with Salem. They were looking at the plants and I guess he was teaching her about it. He kept pointing to different plants and talking to her.
Bria didn't stay long. She exited the house and went back home.
I went into our room to change my shirt that Salem decided to mess up. Fishing through my draw to see what shirt I wanted to wear. Pulling it out and looking straight something caught my eye. Picking up the frame I was lost for words. "Delano?!" I yelled. He came in "What's up?".
"I didn't know you had this picture. Thinking I was the only one who had this picture of us" I said.
"Yeah remember you made a copy for me. You insisted I have one" he said. Lies!
"Oh... I guess I forgot" I said. Now I could've interrogated his ass but I wasn't in the mood. He would just talk in circles making me seem like I'm crazy. He stood there and raised his brow "What's this about?".
"Nothing just curious that's all" I said. He shrugged and walked out the room. I swear this picture was destroyed. How in the world did he get it?. See now Bria's thoughts are circulating my mind. Changing my shirt I went back out to finish dinner. Stirring the pot my mind was making some crazy scenarios. Not hearing when Ryan snuck up behind me "mom!" He yelled. I jumped back with the pot spoon about to swing. "Ryan don't get beat up trying to scare people. You know how easy it would be for me to just swing this spoon?".
"Sorry mom... just wanted to know when dinner is going to be ready" he said.
"Soon... okay. Now to keep Kairo occupied" I said. He nodded and ran off. Delano came in "You okay? I heard a yell before".
"Yeah I'm good. Just Ryan scared the crap out of me" I said. He laughed "he tends to do that now".
"It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt. Poor boy could've ended up with a spoon mark on his face" I said. Just trying to put the pieces together. When I called Delano about the time I noticed I got robbed or broken into. It sounded like he was at work. Or at least I think so. I needed to shut my mind off. Damn you, bria!.
