I was honestly getting tired of Gia accusing me of breaking into her home. Every time she sees Bria she come back accusing me all over again. That photo she found I had no idea how it got there. I wasn't there for Salem's birth so there's no way I could've had the picture. I need some fresh air especially since I'm working from home now until Salem gets a little older.
Not driving I just walked. Walking into town and just window shopping. "Delano?" I turned my head and saw Madison. I didn't respond to her I just kept on walking.
"Delano? Wait?" She came up running to me. "Listen I just wanted to say that I Hope gia and you are happy together. I'm sorry I couldn't change that love you had for her for me".
"Madison what do you want?"'I asked. She's bullshitting me.
"Actually I'm not if you didn't know. But your mother is out on bail. So just be careful. She's out to get you" she said.
"How come you know this and I don't?" I asked.
"I have no idea. But when you got her arrested she was out on bail that next week. She's been out ever since" she said.
"Great..." I dryly said.
"I don't usually stand for violence. And your mother is on the hunt" she said.
"What's in it for you that you told me this?" I asked
"Nothing at all. I couldn't live with myself knowing I could've said something to you before something bad happened" she said.
Raising my brow "right anyway I'm going to walk away now". She gave me a small smile and waved. I'm trying to figure out how come I wasn't informed about my mother's release from jail. Unbelievable and now this solves the infamous question on who broke into Gia's apartment. Face palming myself cause now shit just got difficult.
Storming back into the house I grabbed Gia and pushed her into the bedroom. "What the fuck Delano?".
"Listen we need to talk, now!" I said. She stood there with an attitude all over her face. "I just ran into Madison and she just told me my mom has been on bail for a while".
"Okay? So" she said.
"So... instead of saying I broke into your apartment. I can bet you anything she was behind it" I said. Gia covered her mouth and sat on the bed "holy shit your mammy wants her ass beat".
"Gia not right now. No time for jokes. This is serious. We can't trust anyone right now. I know how she operates. She will use anyone to get what she wants. The simplest person who tries to befriend you could be tied to her".
"Why didn't you just take her out? At least she can't come back from that" she said.
"I don't know but now things are going to get weirder and crazier" I said.
"This shit never ends. It's like a constant repeat of the same bullshit. Someone needs to take her old ass out already. And I'm not pregnant anymore. Just saying".
"Oh no you don't. Don't even think about it. Im not putting you in that danger" I said. Ryan came in "Mom Salem is crying and Kai keeps teasing her". Gia huffed "I'll be there in a second okay". He nodded and closed the door. "Delano we have children here. Two smalls ones at that. We need to fix this cause if not someone will end up getting hurt".
"I know, I know... this is definitely a curve ball. Wasn't expecting this to happen" I said.
"Haven't you learned the unexpected always comes for us? Our kids, our enemies. Come on now". She opened the door and went out to the play room to see what was going on. I stayed on the bedroom just in complete shock.
Later that night...
After Tucking in both boys. I went to our bedroom. Gia was laying there along with Salem. "Again?".
"Listen just let her be. She's extra grumpy tonight and dramatic" Gia said. Crawling in the bed and seeing Salem eyeing me. She put her arms out which meant she wanted to cuddle with me. Pulling her to me and she snuggled herself in my arms. "Spoiled".
"Who's fault is that? I told you to not let her sleep in our bed" I said. Salem growled a little. Gia smirked "she wants us to stop talking about her like she's not here".
"Starting tomorrow little girl you are going in your crib. No more sleeping with us" I said. Salem pretended to be asleep.
"Does your mother know where you live now by any chance?" Gia asked.
"I never told her so she shouldn't but with her you never know" I said.
"Crazy I thought she would go to jail. How in the world she did get a bail set... that woman is always up to no good" Gia said.
"As long as you guys are protected then that's all I'm worried about. She already got to your apartment destroying everything... who knows what she's capable of" I said.
