GIA POV
Trying to do Salem's hair the house phone rang. Ron told me he would call to check up on us. I couldn't thank him more for all he's doing. "Hello".
"Hey Gia, How is everything?" He asked.
"Everything is good" I said.
"Good, I ran into Delano. He was upset that you left and he doesn't know where you are. But I have a feeling he's going to end up finding out. If he happens to show up there... I mean I wish he would give you space. But just try and speak to each other".
"Wait? Hold up? How would he find me?" I asked.
"I can imagine Delano is very smart. Especially when it comes to you. He tries to use fear to get what he wants but it wasn't working with me".
"That's Delano... hopefully he doesn't find out. Crossing fingers" I said.
"Just lay low and try to get some peace before the hurricane Delano shows up" he said.
"Thanks again" I said.
"You're welcome" he said. I hung up the phone just worrying Delano already knows where I am. Ryan and Kai came in smiling "look what we caught out there". They showed me a little crab. "Wow cool. But you do know you'll have to put him back on the beach. It won't survive in here".
"Aw, man" Kai whined. They marched right back outside to release the crab. Now with Delano on the hunt my mind is racing. There goes the peace and tranquillity I was looking for. Hopefully he doesn't get here until we leave. Salem tapped me pointing to the television "dada".
Delano's work commercial was on television. Don't you just hate when you are in another state and a commercial for another state comes on?. Shutting off the the television quickly before Salem starts to ask for Delano non stop. "Dada?" She asked.
And the stress begins. "Salem daddy is home, he has work". She looked at me "dada!".
Just then Kai came in and distracted her. Thank god. I needed to think either I stay here face Delano and I'm not ready. Or I go to a water park resort and let the kids have a great time. Decisions, decisions...
Ryan sat next to me "Are you okay?". Turning to him "Yeah I'm fine. Just thinking".
"Mom I'm surprised dad hasn't showed up. Usually if he finishes work early he just comes along" he said.
"He is slammed with work. Just let him be. Aren't we having fun anyway?".
"Yeah we are" he said.
"Ryan look, I promise you dad and I will try and work things out. We are just going through something".
"Are we going to live in separate houses, again?" He asked. Honestly I didn't even know the answer to give him. But I didn't want to lie to him either. "I don't know". He looked down "oh".
"Look just let me worry about what's going to happen. I don't want you stressing over adult problems" I said. He nodded and just sat there. This is what I didn't want. I know Ryan is hurt. Just when things where looking up. I feel like things are crumbling down slowly. The tower was falling. My anxiety was on a high now.

DELANO POV
"Ron Miller... found you. Let's see what I can find on what you have" I said to myself. Typing away on my laptop just seeing where this man has Gia at. Seeing he has a home not too far from the workplace and the vacation home in California. Interesting. Gia would go to California.
Doing a little more research I found the city and address. Sitting there I contemplated if I should even go. Gia has to come back here. The boys start school on Monday. Or I can go there make the kids happy and try to get Gia to talk to me. I miss our kids. Salem must be going crazy without me.
Getting up I grabbed a bag of clothes and got into the car and was about to start the journey to California. Hopefully I can get there by the morning. It's a good ten hour drive there. I needed my wife and our children. Understanding I have my own demons but we can work through it. Even if it takes months, years we can make it through.
Forgetting my house keys inside I ran to get them. When I came out the one person I wasn't hoping to see was leaning on my car. "How? Aren't you suppose to be in jail?".
"Really? I got bail. So I heard gia left you. Told you that would happen if she ever found out about us. You never listen!".
"Gia didn't leave. She went on a small vacation. She's coming back!" I said.
"Did you tell her about the real reason you missed Salem's birth?" She asked.
"No I didn't. Not yet. I need her here before I tell her that. If I don't she won't come back" I said.
"Dummy! Didn't I warn you to not come over that day but you insisted?. See and you missed Salem's birth and then blamed Madison. But she was too slow to even get it".
"Bria just leave me alone, okay. This whole thing just fucked up my marriage! Just go away" I said.
She laughed "yeah okay... don't you see we belong together. Two fucked up individuals who refuse help. Gia was once in that group until she got help".
"I love Gia. That's the difference. I never loved you. Yeah I liked you but it was never love" I said.
"You can't love someone and then keep hurting them. That's not love... actually I don't even know what to call that" she laughed.
"Bria leave me alone. I'm warning you! Don't come over here. Do not call me. We are done! There's no more of us. So move on and get a life. Now excuse me while I go save my marriage and get my family back" I got in the car and sped off.
