DELANO POV

I had the kids out here with me so Gia could rest a little. She's been complaining about headaches lately and today was the day she was just sick. "Dad! Can you tell Salem to leave me alone!" Kai yelled. Looking towards them I see her holding onto his shirt as he tried to run. Ryan was too busy climbing rocks.

Just us enjoying the outdoors. Salem came over to me to show me a spider she picked up. Opening her hands she held it up. "You can't bring that back inside. So just let it go out here". She closed her hand and mean mugged me. "Salem! You heard what I said". She walked over back to where the boys were. Turning my back when I saw Gia lean on the door frame "feeling better?". She nodded "the headache finally went away!".

Hearing Kai scream we both looked over in his direction. Salem put her hands up like she didn't know what was going on. "Help me! Salem put that spider in my hair!". Shaking my head I eyed Salem who was smirking. Gia took Kai inside the house to get that spider out of his hair. Ryan was dying with laughter "she kills me every time!".

"Ryan that's not funny. When you laugh at her antics you're just egging her on" I said.

"But it's funny. Did you see the way he screamed? Priceless" he said.

"Salem come here" she walked over to me with her head down. "Oh no! Don't even try it. What you did wasn't nice". She looked up at me with her hands up. I sighed "no I'm not picking you up". She started sniffling... how could I say no. I picked her up and she sobbed in my chest.

"She has you wrapped around her finger" Ryan said.

"She's upset" I said.

"Right... if you must know she's smiling" he said. Lifting her head up she smiled big. She played me. Sometimes I wonder if Salem is a karmic debt. You know it's like payback for all the things I did before her. Walking inside with both kids. Kai was sitting there with a towel on his head. He was very proud of his hair. I guess he wanted to look like me even though he already does.

"The little girl is something else" Gia said.

"Tell me about it. She faked cried to get out of trouble" I said.

"And she's only one. Lord" she said.

"How's Kai?" I asked.

"He's not too mad since we got the spider out. It could've been worse" she said. Gia held her head again and took a deep breath "You okay?".

"The room was spinning there for a quick second" she said.

"Maybe you should go back to bed. Rest a little" I suggested.

"No I'm fine. As long as that headache doesn't come back" she said. Gia told me how bria came to her job and started unnecessary bullshit. I guess she wasn't ready for the news that Gia and I were married. When will she get it? Then she had the audacity to lie about that party I slept with Gia at. I never touched Bria that night. I mean she tried to but I wasn't comfortable with the idea. Plus, I had other focuses that night.

"Ryan?" I yelled. He cane running up to me "Yes?".

"Listen I'm going to the store to get mom some medicine for her head. Just please watch Kai and Salem. Don't want mom to get up okay?" I said.

He nodded "okay". Running back into where he cane from. Gia's headache was getting bad so I offered to go get her something else from the pharmacy. Pulling up I got out and washed in. Scanning the aisle for the best medicine.

Have you ever felt the feeling you were being watched?. I turned around to see Bria smiling. Great, here we go!. "Well, well well look who we have here.." I ignored her. I wasn't in the mood for it. "Oh so now you're ignoring me?!".

"Bria look I just want to get my wife some medicine and go on home" I said.

"Psshhh you're wife... what a joke!. How long will you both be married... three months before Gia decides she needs a break?" She smirked.

"Look, I don't see why you don't get it. What we had was nothing. Yes, we had sex multiple times but it was just sex nothing more. There was no feelings into anything I had with you. You were just temporary" I said.

"So that pregnancy meant nothing?" She asked.

"I can bet that baby wasn't mine. There's no way you can get pregnant through using pregnant all the time you nut" I said.

"How dare you say that baby wasn't yours!. You know as well as I do it was! Just like when Gia was pregnant with Ryan you never second guessed it".

"Actually I did. But why would you know that? You were to busy trying to get to me. What kind of person uses their so called best friend?".

"Let's not go into that. You're no better than me. I just did was gia was used to" she said.

"Oh wow! So you just used her because she was used to that? You was her friend! Instead of treating her the same way she was used to... you were suppose to build her up make her better. Do what I did!".

She sucked her teeth "whatever, Gia was lucky I was ever her friend". Wow this girl has balls today. "Bria listen to me closely. I never, will never want you in anyway. What we had was medicating for me from Gia. You will never ever be like Gia. At least she has a heart and compassion. Something you need. Get it through that thick skull. I don't want you! Just like I didn't want that baby you claimed was mine. Now go on home and cry to daddy since he's the only one who seems to believe every lie that comes out of that disgusting filthy mouth".

She wasn't ready for that Delano to come out. Covering her face she raced out of the pharmacy. I'm so tired of her.
