DELANO POV

"Look at the picture!!! She looks so pretty" Gia said. Let me tell you about our long morning with taking Salem to get professional pictures done... this little girl is something else. She knew she looked pretty and wanted to act the part as well. First of I was holding her so she didn't get dirty. When it was time to take the actual pictures she didn't want me to let her go. She cried and screamed. Now we had to wait for her face to relax and unpuff itself. I was just done with this whole morning. Gia didn't seem bothered by what's been going on. Can't wait to get home to just relax. When the pictures were printed you saw the slick smile on her face.

Finally this was done. All I needed was a nice alone time relaxing outside along with a nap. "She did a good job" Gia said.

"Was that after the fact she threw a tantrum?" I asked. Salem reached out for me to hold her. She was taking the term daddy's girl to a whole other level. Gia handed her to me and she smiled. "Aww she loves daddy!". Salem smiled and laid her head on my chest.

We got home and I immediately disappeared to the back. It was quite humid today so my shirt cane off and I just laid back in the chair. Let the sun tan my body while I'll nap. "You looking like that be careful now I don't want females jumping over the fence here".

I laughed "don't worry I'll pepper spray them off. But I'm taking a nap. Oh and we are going on date night tonight" I said.

"With the kids too?" She asked.

"No please... I love the kids and all but Salem alone will dominate the dinner" I said. Gia laughed "she just loves you a lot".

"I have someone from my office coming to watch them. So we can face our night alone and kids free" I said.

"Keep looking like that you might just score a happy ending" she smirked.

"Well let me shift so my abs can look more defined. Never know another one can magically appear". I joked. "Cute, but I'm protected by birth control" She shook her head and went back inside.

An hour later I woke up to a full house. Kai and salem were going at it as usual. Meanwhile Ryan was doing his own thing. Gia was trying to clean up the mess the other two were making. "Ouch! Salem bit me!" Kai yelled.

"You keep messing with her, so..." Gia said. He rubbed his arm and ran away from a Salem who was trying to go after him. I sighed and hugged Gia from behind "that joke about more kids? I take it back".

"That shop is closed. Been closed. We have more than enough" she said. I went to shower and get myself ready. My employee texted me she was on the way. Gia was about done getting ready. The kids were oddly calm tonight.

The door bell rang. Opening the door I see Dolores she was an older woman who has children and grandchildren herself. So I didn't mind her coming to watch our children. "Hello oh my you have precious children".

"Thank you! That's Ryan, Kai and Salem" I said. She nodded "they are in good hands. Go enjoy the night". Gia walked up to me "I'm ready".

"If anything call me" I said. Dolores nodded "definitely will". Gia and I walked out the house free from kids. Almost forgot how it felt. "I miss them already" Gia whined.

"They are in good hands" I said. We pulled up to the restaurant and got seated. "This is nice" Gia said.

"Anything for my wife to be" I smiled. Little did she know what I was up to. We enjoyed the simple conversation without having someone chime in. "Why are you looking so nervous?!".

"I'm not nervous. You are seeing things" I said. Fiddling with the box in my pocket. I was trying to figure out perfect timing to pop the question, again. I feel like we are in a good enough place in our lives that this won't backfire like it did the first time.

Might as well do it now... she already suspect something. I got up and knelt down. "I think at this moment in time we are in a good head space. Than how we were before. Same ring, different time. Same question "will you marry me, again?". She sat theee in shock just looking at me with her hand slightly over her mouth.

"Of course I'll marry you!" She said. I got up and slide the ring on her finger in pure happiness. She hugged me and kissed me. "You made me the happiest man on earth". This has to be one of the greatest days I ever experienced. She wanted to get home to tell the kids about us.

We got in the house and Dolores was sleeping. Gia went to peek into Ryan and Kaia's room. They were sound asleep. She walked into our room to see Salem but she wasn't there. Weird. Opening Salem's room door she wasn't there either. "Salem is missing!!" She frantically yelled. "She's probably hiding" I said.

Gia shook her head "no she's not!". Waking up Dolores she seemed confused "you guys back already?".

"Where is Salem?!" Gia asked.

"She's sleeping in her room" she says. Gia ran hack to her room. She came out "she's not there!". Coming back from a great night to this... wasn't expecting this at all.
