DELANO POV

I excused Gia's attitude from the other day. I wasn't about to let it get to me. She told me Bria was stopping by to drop off something for the kids. Not that I want her here but it's whatever. And I don't want to have any problems with Gia today.

Hearing the door she looked at me "can you get that?". I nodded and went to open the door. Bria was standing there smiling "hey Delano!",

"What's up, Bria... long time no see" I said. She laughed "I know right... you keep Gia in this house how can she come out and see me?" She joked.

"Funny... coming from someone who's bracelet was found at the scene of the crime" I said. She was about to respond but Gia came out the room "hey". They walked together to the living room. I honestly didn't want to be anywhere near Bria so I went to my office.

Hearing them laugh and being themselves. It amazed me this could be the one person who betrayed Gia and it's like nothing ever happened. "Delano come here" Gia yelled.

"What?" I said.

"Look at these clothes that Bria got the kid! How cool right?" She said. I nodded "cool". Bria squinted her eyes at me "is there a problem?".

"Excuse me?" I asked.

"Bria what are you talking about?" Gia asked folding up the clothes and putting them back in the bag. "Delano has been acting funny since I got here. I want to know is there a problem?".

No problem over here" I said.

"Are you sure?" She asked. Now this is when I could've just ended this with saying yup. But no I wanted to know who bria really was... "actually... I find it funny you're sitting here smiling in Gia's face knowing you did what you did. You can lie to her but I know better".

Bria smirked "is he doing this today?". Gia looked at her and back at me "Can we not do this?".

"I'm not doing anything wrong. Just trying to find out the truth that she knows" I said.

"You know what Delano... you must not know me very well. To even accuse me of doing that to my sister and best friend shows me your true character" she said.

"Character? Really? We are going down that road. Gia you can't sit here and believe anything she's saying?" I asked her.

"Gia will always believe me over you. Right?" Gia didn't respond "I really don't want to get in the middle of this".

"Too late... Gia who was there for you from the jump. When you was dealing with his controlling ass when you find out you was pregnant with Ryan. Who was there when he cheated on you? Or when you need to get away to get a piece of mind?. I was not him!".

"Oh please bria! Coming from the same person who enabled Gia to do what she wanted. That's all you did".

"You know what when he wasn't around for you for the four years you two separated I was there. I helped you through your postpartum depression. He was no where around. He was too busy finding new women like Madison. We were close before he came back in the picture. And now he's here I barely see you!".

Gia didn't say anything. She sat there.

"You know I have to say you were all for us being together and now it's a problem. And then you throw me under the bus numerous times hoping Gia would be motivated to leave again...so she could be all yours right? Wait don't you have a new boyfriend?".

"Delano fuck You! Gia I don't see what you see in this asshole. All he's good for is making sure you can never leave him!. Delano isn't stupid gia! Wouldn't be surprised someone close to him broke into your home. As usual the drama surrounds you when his family is involved".

Gia got up and ran out the living room "see now she's upset. You can leave now!" I said.

"The next time you guys split up and I know there will be a next time... I'll make sure she doesn't go back to you. She deserves better" she said. Rolling my eyes I motioned for her to leave. She stormed out the house and slammed the door behind her. Gia locked herself in the room. Great.
