~The next day~
The doctor informed you, yesterday, that you should rest. Then he discharged you from the hospital. "Now you can go wherever you want!" he smiled. "Thank you," you smiled back. "We're glad you're awake," Kim said when the doctor left. "Yeah, we were about to leave this hospital in a week. We're so happy to have our assistant manager back," Jimin smiled. Taehyung was currently clinging onto your legs and crying. "He'll be like that for some time," Seokjin chuckled. "Hey, guys," you said. Kim and BTS looked at you. Then you bowed, "I'm sorry for any trouble that I caused. I didn't know that I would be in that state for so long." "Hey, stand up straight," Kim said. You did as she told. "We did this because you're our friend. You didn't cause any trouble for us, just a lot of stress," Namjoon assured. "But as of now, we're happy to see you back in your original state. A month in a coma isn't the best," Yoongi said. "I agree. You're showing how strong you are even after what you been through," Jungkook added. You smiled brightly at their words. "Thank you so much for waiting for me to come back. I really appreciate it," you said. "Of course, we can't really go back without you. Although, we sort of planned to because we needed to get work in," Hoseok replied. "Yeah, sorry," you smiled. "Now, let's get back to the hotel and get ready to leave," Kim clapped her hands. They nodded and left the room. Taehyung stayed behind. He went over to you and embraced you. "I'm so happy you're back," he said. "I should be apologizing to you the most," you hugged him back. You really missed this embrace. "It's fine. You don't need to. But now, I can finally do this," he pulled back and landed a kiss on your lips. "I'll see you later," then he ran off. It's been so long since you felt that, making you blush brightly. "I'm glad to be back," you smiled.
Just then the door opened. Byung-Hee entered with a bouquet of flowers. When he saw you, he dropped them. "You're awake," he was shocked. You smiled. There was an awkward tension between the both of you. "S-so..." he paused. "Thank you," you said. "Huh? You don't need to thank me," he replied. "Of course I do. You've been visiting me nonstop, right?" you asked. He nodded, "I felt guilty. It was my fault you fell out of that window." "It's really not. I knew the window was open. I'm the one who should have been more careful," you assured. Then awkwardness, again. You went over to him and held your hand out to him. He stared at in confusion before looking up at you. "Let's... try this again, as friends," you smiled. For a second, he seemed relieved. "I know you ladies couldn't resist me," he said a second later. "Or not," you lowered your hand. "I'm just kidding," he was nearly begging. You smiled, "You make it seem like you're a playboy but you're really not." "I guess I need to live up to my image," he chuckled. "Just don't go living your image when I'm around," you said. Then you held your hand out again. He happily took it. "Friends?" you asked. He nodded, "Friends." Then he picked up the flowers. "These are for you," he said. "Thanks," you took them. You and him talked for some time before he left. Your mom and dad entered. "I'm so happy you're awake," your parents hugged you. "I'm sorry for any trouble I caused you while I was partially dead," you apologized. "It's fine. You're mother was the only one who was worried about the company more than anything," your dad said. "Oh be quiet, I was also worried for her," she nudged him. "You can return to work now. I'm out of a coma now," you replied. "Nonsense, we haven't finished with your business trip," she said. "What, you still plan on doing that even though she just came out of that state?" he asked. "Calm down, honey. It's a business trip for the three of us," she said. "What?" you and your dad gave her a confused face. "I haven't spent as much time with both of you in a long time. It's been a while since we all got together like this. So before our daughter leaves and we go our separate ways, I wanted to spend time together, like old times," she explained, shyly. You smiled. "I guess she was thinking of you," your dad joked. "Of course I was. Now do you guys want to do it before we go back?" she asked. "Of course we do, it's family time!" you answered. A smile appeared on her face. Then your friends entered. "Let me talk to them first," you said. Your parents nodded.
"We'll meet you outside then," your dad informed. When your parents left, you were pulled into a group hug. "We missed you, Miss Y/N," Lily said. You chuckled, "Didn't I tell you not to call me that?" They all looked so happy. "Thank you for staying by my side for a month," you said. "Of course, that's our job," Josh replied. "Hey Y/N, Mark has a new crush on a girl name Ayeon," Lily said. "That's my personal business!" Mark intruded. Then they went off to fight, and Josh attempted to break them up. You turned to your driver. "They missed you dearly," he said. "I can tell..." you replied. "It's not like you to leave us like that," he said. "I know, I was clumsy," you replied. You felt the need to thank everyone, they were there for you when you needed it. "Thank you- no, wait. Thank you, Eun. For being my my side for so long," you smiled. "Of course, it's my job," he patted your head. "Now run along, your parents are waiting," he said. You nodded. When you made it outside, you saw Taehyung with them. "We bumped into each other and they invited me to come along," he explained. "Let's get going?" you asked.
~After a while~
You, your parents, and Taehyung went around shopping. Then you ate lunch together. Now it was late. You and your parents also got matching keychains. "I'll try calling you more. I know I haven't been the best but I'll strive to be someone you look up to," your mom said. "I always looked up to you, so you don't need to," you assured. Then they took Taehyung aside. They wanted to talk to him privately but you could hear them. In short, they wanted him to take care of you when they go different ways. "She's an independent person, and tends to slip up the most because of that. Don't let her get past your barrier," your dad said. "Don't worry, I'll keep a good eye on her," Taehyung assured. Then you were off to the airport, back to Seoul.
I hoped you enjoyed!
