~A week later~

The images of you were now swirling around the internet. Various business owners were making fun of you. You're now a laughing stock, not just for the business field but for the the entire world. BTS fans have been spamming Taehyung with it, calling you weak and lame. They were trying to convince him to not stay with you. Speaking of BTS, it's been getting harder to be their assistant manager. At some times, you would think about quitting. Apparently someone figured out your job was their assistant manager, and they started spreading it around. At first, it was just a rumor but it uncontrollably spiraled around, like the dating rumor. You were at a lost now, unsure what step to take.

"This way," Mark started leading you to your office. You smiled, "You know that I know where my office is." "I know but it's nice walking you to it. It makes me feel useful," he said. "You're always useful," you replied. He looked over at you. "Are you okay? You've been going through a lot lately," he asked. "I've been fine. It's just getting harder to leave my house without wanting to turn back around. I'm lucky to have Lily and Josh to push me out though," you chuckled. "I know you're going through a lot and I'm not in the right place to say thing but... you're stronger than them. Don't let their words get to you. They know nothing about you," he said. You smiled and patted his back. "Thank you, Mark. I'm happy to have you here to support me," you replied. "This entire company is cheering you on. They believe in you, that's why we're trying our hardest as well," he said. "I know, all of you do so much for me. I don't deserve any of you," you smiled. After a while, you and Mark were in the office. "Let me hear about the last meeting," you said. You opened your laptop and started looking through the files everyone sent you. Mark stood in the back and went through everything that went down- well before the interviewers barged in.

"Have you heard the news, Mrs. L/N?" my secretary asked. "You know I don't listen to the news," I threw a pile of papers onto the other side of the desk. "It's about your daughter," she said. "My daughter? What about my daughter?" I asked. "Apparently, she's now a laughing stock for everyone," she answered. "What, explain everything that's going on," I gave her my full attention. "At first, it started off as a rumor about Miss L/N dating a kpop idol that goes by the name of V, also known as Kim Taehyung. When she was back from her business trip, a bunch of his fans spilled their drinks over them and threw their cups at her! Then on one day, some interviewers barged their way into an important meeting and started surrounding her. I think the news said 'she felt too much pressured', and she ended up crouching. Some interviewers even said that she begged for them to leave her alone," she explained. I was in absolute shock, she was too young and inexperienced to deal with this. This was all my fault. I was the one who caged her up, and didn't let her experience these harsh environments. "Now people are calling her weak. They're even starting to tell her to leave the company if she can't deal with the pressure. The businesses are protesting her to leave because she made a bad image on them," she added. "That's just profound! How dare they!" I stood up in anger. "Tell the company that I will be right back. I need to deal with this matter," I started walking off, annoyed. "Y-Yes, ma'am," she bowed. Then I left the room.

"What, they did what?" I asked, angrily. I was just having a normal day and watching a group practice. But then, I was erupted by anger. My wife called me and informed me about my little girl's plight. I was angered by this point. "I want to interfere but I'm unsure how," she said, she was troubled and annoyed all at once. I started thinking of ways. "We can go onto the news and yell at people," I said. "Honey, you can't yell at people through the T.V.," she replied. "I can to, watch me. I'm going to protect my precious daughter no matter what!" I shouted. The group looked over at me, shocked. I waved them to continue their practice.

When you were looking at files, a call interrupted your concentration. It was from your parents so you instantly answered. "Hello?" you asked. "Why didn't you inform us that you're having troubles?" your dad asked. The call was split in two, your mom on the left and your dad on the right. They were in separate places, of course. "You guys heard about that?" you asked. "Yeah, I just heard about it today. How have you last this long?" your mom asked. "I guess she's not as weak as the news makes her out to be. I hate those people!" your dad exclaimed. "Calm down, it's nothing to worry about," you said. "Nothing to worry about? Our precious daughter is being bullied! Of course there's a lot to worry about," your mom was nearly shouting through the phone. "This is all my fault, you're inexperienced with all this. If only I let you go out more often, you'll know how to handle it," it seemed like your mom was pegging herself against a corner. "I'm honestly fine-" you were interrupted. "We're going to stop these people. We're going to barge into the news station just like those interviewers did. I'm going to strangle every single one of them," your dad threatened. "You know you can't do that, it'll look bad on the company," you said. "I don't care! You're more important than that company that got you into this," he said. "Not only will she seem 'weak,' but we'll also seem weak for leaving the company for her sake," your mom pointed out.

At the end of the day, your parents did go onto the news. More like they hacked into the news. "Sorry for the interruption but we have something important to say." They really did interfere with the news. The entire world can see it. Unlike what your dad threatened to do, he was calm and professional. Your parents informed that the rumor was fake and was formed by false images that were believable to the human mind. They also explained that you were indeed BTS assistant manager. But, you and Taehyung were just close friends that look after each other. The other businesses grind their teeth at their failure to overthrow the company. While fans, seemed more relieved than anything. This was all done in a professional manner. When the news was about to end, however, there was a slight glimpse of your dad grabbing the camera. But the programs returned before he could start yelling at the camera, so much for acting professional. The stress finally got released.

I hoped you enjoyed!

"Darn, she got her parents involved, what a pain," the second person started biting their thumb. "Don't worry, we made a plan B exactly for this reason," the first person assured.
